There seems to be a lot heat being generated in this thread. All over a card that is pretty meh, at least how I see it from the 3 clip preview that I downloaded.

Clip 1 - She sits on a towel speaking (don't know what she says because my sound is turned off) before introducing a toy.

Clip 2 - She is shiny from oil. Still sitting on her towel, then makes a side view on all fours.

Clip 3 - Standing with sponge to wash screen, sops up the glass then rubs her butt against the glass. I noticed a new wash bucket with the ‘S’ logo on it, so that is something, I guess.

I guess I got lucky I won the card. Ginebra Belluci I have not seen it yet but I sure it well be good. Good Luck everyone.

What would be a good way to give feedback on my displeasure with the gambling game and how to acquire "special" cards?

As the Totem's team said, some other promotions will be planned in the future to have a chance to get the special event cards. So wait and see what ideas will come from the team after this debate. Only Totem has the right to do something about the nature of the promotions.

And I would like to say, if some of my words have ***** some members here, I apologize for that.

There is nothing to prevent the same number from showing up 10 times in a row at a roulette wheel, but it is very unlikely. If you saw that happen you are remarkably lucky.

I think you would be unreasonably optimistic to do that. It's only about 5 standard deviations. More precisely a 0.073% chance. Given 2 minutes per spin and 24 hours of operation any roulette wheel could be expected to see 3 in a row once every 2 days.

To be clear and as I had other family business to attend to, no moderator was overly dismissive of comments made on this topic. It was pointed out that no one is ***** to play the games (and I do not), but if you want to obtain a missed and rare card , you are certainly having a carrot dangled in front of your eyes.

Certainly tempting as are many things in life but not *****.

Please keep your comments civil and if you are going to go out of your way to attack a moderator, then you are already in breach of the Forum's T & C's.

If you are not happy a bout a moderator's performance, then raise a complaint. Celine or one of the team will always review the complaint and decide what id any action needs to be taken.

The moderators DO get feedback from the team, but NOT on specific complaints. We get advised in general terms if Totem feels that we are being too heavy handed.

@gatroll - moderators here have proven many times they act in an unprofessional manner throughout the years, and although there has been some improvement as of late (at least IMO) it's still a ***** to read their comments sometimes.

I don't think anything can be done about that at this point, so it's best not to engage in any kind of conversation about that, as it's a waste of everyone's time.

If it is a lottery, you might want to put that in the rules somewhere. It's only fair to safe gamble. It's better to not gamble at all... can someone tell that to the ***** driver that hit me? :)

companies change their methods over time yet even though this collecting hobby gets quite expensive now (i liked my old subscription better) i still see it as agreeable in the fact that i can, at any time, pick up any card i choose to no matter how much time has passed. however, these "special event" cards are honestly nothing more special than any other card beyond their paywalls and die rolls. this is something i do not find agreeable since i am a collector of the cards. i enjoy collecting them in full sets even if i do not watch them for some time. being able to collect a full set of a model feels like a nice achievement and your team even tracks this which is cool. ever collect baseball or comic cards? ever have that ONE card you cannot seem to collect no matter how many packs you buy? remember how you could go to a comic shop and find that ONE card you needed to complete your collection? why not implement this idea here in the form of an auction marketplace for those who got it and would like to sell it for credits? the community would set the price of the card and would offer a new way to obtain these otherwise unobtainable cards.

It is there, being implied by the words "Scratch the circles and match 3 S to win". I do think, however, that it the wording could have been more explicit, and I also think that it would have been better still if the odds of getting a S and of each type of prize had been quoted somewhere.

I'm pretty sure that terms and conditions, chances to win are slightly longer than just "scratch here". :)

If you buy a scratch card there is a whole load of terms printed on the back, chance to win too.

@shodan084 - I agree, but it seemed to me that you were saying that there was no indication that it was a lottery. To me the wording on the card was quite clear about the nature of the game, though not about the probability of winning.

Personally i think that those users with a full collection have every right to be angry. (and i am NOT one of these users)
They have supported Totem for over 10 years in many cases and would probably continue to buy everything that Totem releases for the next 10 years.
Obviously these users are very keen on having a full collection, because you can be pretty sure that they haven't watched all the shows in their collection.
So what would be the cost to either make such a game without a new special event card, or give that new special event card to these users who have been the backbone support of the company for free?
Now we have a situation that some of these users so pissed that they are seriously considering to stop buying new shows because they feel ripped off. They can't have the full collection anymore unless they spend tons of credits on a game they can't really win from. That might be the straw that breaks the camels back for these users.

Exactly the way that I feel.
I will just be using up my current credit balance and not purchasing anymore.

I'm not angry. Disappointed fits better. My collection is nearly complete. I'm only missng the VG classic cards. I don't have any interest in cards that are that low of a resolution. So gambling to get quality video (special event) cards, with the odds against me, and then ending up with nothing or a low quality card isn't going to happen. I have loyally supported this product. I will continue to do so. But I am disappointed.

I came here hoping to find out what makes the special event cards "special", and what causes cards such as the new Kay J card to cost more than a usual card. What is so great about that outfit, really? That's beside the point. After I saw the snarky comment from that mod, I was pretty irritated. This customer had a legit question and the person was a jerk to that customer. A lot of people have poured money into the product and simply wish there were a way to purchase the cards they want, in a program that boasts how interactive and customizable it is. Gee whiz...

It won't matter, but I can't just sit here and read all this without saying something. I may be even more selective about my purchases than I have been as of late..

My impression is that a card will cost more if it features a more expensive, specialized outfit that doesn't have much potential for re-use, such as:

• Kay J's "Victorian Secret" (f0431)
• Nancy A's "Wicked Witch" (e0618)
• Paulin'a "Shape Shifter" (e1078) - (The mask was nice and might have been pricey.)

A card's cost can also be increased if it features multiple models, such as Lucy Heart's "Sex on the Beach" (f0097). It's not surprising that in these cases Totem passes on the increased production costs to the buyers of those cards.

The exclusive cards seem to be chosen based on the promotion they are incentivizing. Totem has conducted a bikini-themed promotion during the early months of the last two years (Jan. 2017 and March 2018), so it's not surprising they would do one this year as well. From the previews, Ginebra's Flash Flood seems to be a very nice card that's perfect for this promotion. It make's me wonder whether they will hold her genie card to be an exclusive for Halloween this year.

we may keep such outfits in the future for special occasions, as some have supposed here (;-) )
but sorry, I can't tell you when this one will be released... as I don't even know myself for now (ready to go, but not planned yet).

So that means this also will be a "Exclusive Card" too.............probably, waiting a Long Time for it..........
