I think it is easy to criticize but I would hope in the end that ppl reasize that this is a relatively small company trying to make things interesting for there customers. Yes, it did not come off perfectly but I have never ever had an issue with customer support which I literally cannot say for other companies. I too missed deals but in the end i will either deal with it or discuss it with the great staff as i know it will get resolved.

I don't think many would mind so much if the sort of problems we are seeing this weekend wre a surprize - but something like it seems to happen when ever a new type of TGIF is introduced so Totem shouldeither be expecting problems and plan accordingly or should more thouroughly test the offers in a realistic "production" environment and ensure that what is on the servers exactly matches what was tested - right down to every filename, its contents and file attributes (such as who is allowed to read it)

Having spent about 370 credits today for 36 cards - a terrific deal, I know - I'm still slightly disappointed that I've only managed to pick up two stars. As I have no intention of getting any of the old 480p cards it doesn't look like I have any hope of getting the exclusive show.

But I am grateful to the team for the savings. Hopefully we'll be seeing at least another one of the 600 for the price of 500 credits deals soon. Good night kids!

Pretty sure you need to buy all the shows on one line to get the star, not just one. There is a buy button under the lotto machine which purchases them all as a pack.

I misunderstood the way the promotion works and binged on the cashback. I bought 36 shows, thinking I would easily get my 10 stars that way. Then I saw I only had one and only understood THEN how the thing works. Now, my problem is I only have 2 cards left to buy in the store and I don't see how I'll get 9 more stars in that situation. As you can see, I'm sort of a completionist. So, here's my question: Did I just screwed myself out of a card that I will never be able to buy? (Please, let there be a way for me to get it...) (I suggest a 24 or 48 hours period where I could reload credits worth the whole 10 stars to end the promotion -- no 20% free credits like you do sometimes, just straight up regular reloads. Missing on a card because I was too dumb to understand how the thing worked, that will drive me mad...)

In Canada and U.S. you can always find someone who cares enough about the company to volunteer their time and sometimes without pay to make sure things run smoothly.

There are people who care about customers and then there are others.

Been here since 2007 and it never gets better when it comes to customer service and input except when I need to reset my installs.

I know there are forum members who care more about customer happiness than some of the staff.

I'm not defending Totem for releasing buggy operations all over the week-end but you should calm down a little instead of wishing that an entire country ***** 70 years ago just because you have a small issue with an entertainment company.

@Valynis - You are undoubtedly not alone in making that mistake. I think that such misunderstandings are due to the use of the word "sale" being somewhat ambiguous. It seems that many will have interpreted it as refering to each time Totem "sell" you something (i.e. each time you make a purchase) but it is now clear that Totem meant it to refer to the 2 hour period during which they were offering a particular promotion as a "sale". This ambiguity in the wording would be easy enough for a native English speaker to miss, and even easier to have made if a translation from an original French description was involved.

The Cashback offer is one time each time the offer comes up. I bought one set yesterday and one set today and got one star each time.

I did not get involved with the Black Friday promo, but man i'm disappointed i'm not going to get that Alyssia Kent card for my collection. Would've paid extra for that card she's one of my favs😪
