It worked with 1.1.0.11, I have not yet Installed 1.1.0.12, but when I do, I will make sure that it does..

It works with version 1.1.0.16, but it only lists 52 out of my 363 virtuagirls.
Any fix please?!

Yes it works with all current version of VG and most Previous Versions.

To Think back that I released this 1404 days ago..
September 6th, 2008!

I read the models.lst file to get the cards you have and display them.
VG used to Keep that File updated and finalized even when VG was open and running.

NOW, vg doesn't finalize the models.lst file till you QUIT VG.

So for my Program to work correctly.

Download any new cards.
Quit VG
Start my Program
Start VG again..
Make all your cards Inactive
Make the "V" RED
use my program to play your Cards / Clips.

why you only see some cards and not all of them..
The Models.lst file is partially open by VG and I can only read a portion of it with my program.
Please follow the steps above.

Just a quick Picture to show that both players work fine with VG version 1.1.0.16

There is a Separate player for VG cards and one for DB cards
I have 1111 VG cards and 355 DB cards in my collections
for a total of 1466

as can be seen in both my Players as well as the VG GUI I have open in the background..

I don't have a separate player for the classics..
But, Classic Cards and Vguy Cards are support by my original Associative clip player.

I should also Note:
my Task bar is on AutoHide, that's why the Model is Not On top of the Task bar..

Well, I had to delete models.lst for a complete reading of the models.

What's Changed?
Just about everything is redone in it.
I still have some fixes and updates to do, so it's just a beta right now.

Major Changes.
Single Program supports all 4 Totem Card Sets
a - VirtuaGirl
d - Clasics
c - Deskbabes
b - VirtuaGuy

On the Main screen you can select which Card set you want to use.
just select a c d or b
It has to Rescan when you make a collection change.
Don't re-select a new set till it's finished it's scan for the current one.

Two new Toggles for the Full Animations and the Trailers
F - toggle Full Animations (.vghd) on/off
T - toggle Trailers (.demo) on/off
Can't toggle them both off. one always has to be on.

Fixed the Stats Display popup.
Hover your mouse of the Numbers that show up to see the list of cards
changed the wording to more closely match Totems Wording
As you select the Nudity Level in the main Window, the Stats Title will update.
to show you how many clips of the selected level their are for that card.

double Click on the Card Image is Fixed and open the website up to the selected Card.
The Old web address virtuagirlHD no longer allowed logins.
If you have Deskbabes, or VirtuaGuy selected, it opens the correct website.

The Favorite List Popup (I use this the most)
The Filter routines are all new and much Faster.
New .demo choices No Demos, With Demos, Only Demos.

( Planned addition coming Soon. Ability to Save your Play Progress. )
If you have a LONG Favorite list, when you Click Pause, there will now be an Option to Save your current progrss to a new file. You can then Load the saved file and continue your progress with the Unplayed Cards. Note, Any card that had already been played will not be included in the list when you re-load it.)
So Make sure you Save your Favorite list, before you play it.
That way you will have your Complete Favorite list, and also a Progress list.



Known BUGS
If two Cards have Identical Model NAMES and Outfits, then Only the Lowest Card number can be selected.

Example, Deskbabes cards c0029 and c0030
both are named Heaven#Solo
(have to re-write my routines.. I use the card name as a unique identifier.. never thought two cards would be Named the same)


The Date Sort isn't accurate, some cards are listed in the wrong order.
(working on this...)

For Vista and Windows 7 users.
Locate the Executable file
The-Player.exe
Right click on it.
Select Properties.

On the Compatibility Tab
Set XPSP3
also set Run as Administrator

Cool stuff @Wyldanimal. I will try it out soon. Thanks for the new feature to save the progress of a fav list. You know that was one of the 2 main reasons why I wrote my own app so in the end I think it wasn't a bad thing that this feature wasn't available back then. For one i trained my Java knowledge with something I wanted to do not just some stupid Training programs. And for two I am really happy with what I achieved now. Thanks again for your help with models.lst structure. It was invaluable.

The Save Progress Feature will be SOON in the Next Update. But it will work Just as I described it..

By the way, i was wondering if playlists that people make from their collection can be shared with others, even though they don't have all the cards?
I'm working on a 'lightly sexy' playlist with *****-slips and such at the moment, but it's a lot of work. Next will be a playlist with all the clips starting out completely nude immediately, but at my current rate it'll be done somewhere in 2014 i hope!

Sharing my Favorite Lists.
Sure they are just plain text files.
I'll have to try and include that in my next update.
Currently I don't verify that a clip on the favorite list is actually in the collection.
So I'll have to add a test to make sure, if it's not, then just skip to the next one.

Thanks Wyldanimal. It downloads now. Have it installed and after a little bit of configuration (and using your help guide) it is playing clips now. If I use it regulary I will defintely make a donation. So far I like it. Thanks so much.

I cant get it past the first steps. After installing setup.exe, I get a message that says "setup cannot install system files or update shared files if they are in use. Before proceeding, we recommend that you close any applications you may be running." I'm not exactly tech saavy. What does this mean?

Just an Update to My Player
The Save Progress of the Favorite List feature has been Added.

With the SP check box Checked,
You will be prompted to Save the current Play progress which you can Later re-load and continue play from where you left off.

I just put together a Windows 8 Pro test system.
My Current Version of my Player (1.1.34.00), installs and works on Windows 8 Pro.
However you can't install into the Programs Folder. (writing to this folder is protected)
You must install in to a path on your User Profile.
I installed it to the Same User Profile Application Path as VGHD.

You are indeed FANTASTIC! Your latest “The Player” Version 1.1.34.00 performs “very well” with your “latest” additional BUTTON Enhancements’ “A C D & B” on my WINDOWS XP DeskTop PC. I use “three” of those FOUR BUTTON Options, “A C & D”. I also have the capability of using your “QA Mode” SoftWare (since I SAVED it separately) as part of your Clip Player MODULE.

Just wanted to add, That you can actually Open More than One copy of it at a time.
So One copy can be set for Collection a, and the other copy can be set for Colletion c

It gives you the same function that my separate players used to have that way.
