VirtuaGirl is a wonderful program on it's own, and music adds a new dimension to the experience. There is a single mp3 file included with the software download, and any mp3 can be added to the software from my personal collection which is a nice feature.
All of the bonus videos associated with each card have music embedded in the video which can be toggled on or off in the settings, but I can only listen to them while playing the video that the song is embedded in.
Is there a way to find the song names and/or authors of the music that is embedded in the bonus videos?
Are those songs available for download here on this site?
Can I strip those songs from the videos myself and use them elsewhere within the software without breaking any rules or contravening the terms of use? Although the TOS/EULA are clearly stated, I'm not certain about this option, and I want to be particularly careful before I proceed along this path. I understand that I may have to refer to legislation in my home country as well before attempting this trick.
I like the songs VG has chosen, but don't know how to find them online without knowing the song titles. Maybe they're free right here on this site and licensed for my personal use with the software?
I searched the forums. There is chatter about music, but I can't find anything on this particular subject.
I may want to play them with this software from time to time and most certainly don't plan to share them or use them on any other device. Canada is on a crusade to wipe out software/music/P2P piracy right now, and a trip to Versailles to answer to a summons isn't on my agenda.
i'm not really sure, but i think the music in the videos is made by Totem themselve. and i'm not sure if they're willing to add those songs to the software.
My guess is that if you'd like to listen to this music just as a song or add it to your VG shows as mp3 file, you must download the video first and then rip the music from the video by using third party software. Make a search: how to rip audio from video .. to find more info .. or here's a link to some free tools you might need
That's the plan. I've already gone that route, but thanks for adding the advice to this thread. I found a conversion tool that works. I don't want to implement that option yet, until I hear back from Totem about the license/legality issue.
Incidentally, the ripping option isn't the best. Videos which contain both music and sound produce mp3 files with both together in the sound output. Not exactly the desired effect. A clean copy of the music direct from Totem is perhaps the best for me.
I don't think Totem makes the music from the bonus videos, I'm not 100 % sure but I think I've heard the same songs on other videos elsewhere. Its just generic porn music, so it would be kinda hard to track down the artist/song unless a Team member provides that info or even better, a download link.
Fantastic music on Deskbabe bonus video Card 301 Gina Devine & Iwia. The same musicians also on Deskbabecard 297, 302 and 304. Who are they? Does Totem have more of their music?
@The3LeggedMan Good to know. I'm guessing that Totem holds a license for the music, but I don't know the scope of that agreement. Obviously, the length of a song is edited by Totem to the length of the clips. Certain songs seem to be similar, but at a different tempo, in different videos. They wouldn't ***** the tunes without a license from the author. I know that I could just download generic porn song titles from anywhere, but I thought I'd check this option too. They're good tunes. Totem has done well. Maybe they're available free from Totem. (shrug)
There is a way to record and save ANY sound that your computer can play thru your speakers. This is a very powerful program. You can edit and ***** any recording. You can save the recording as a MP3 file and it works 100%. Best of all, it's open source and free! You can download from here:
I dug up an old thread with yet another option that I hadn't considered. Seems like 5 or 6 years ago, there were a group of musicians chatting about creating their own music for sharing with other members. There are a couple of links to an upload site they were sharing, but those sites are either no longer in use, or in another language. Yet another site referenced in that thread has had it's URL replaced by a chat line.
Maybe they're still users but inactive in the forums:
@Weabul, @Br.BeeKeeper I agree with Weabul about music. Like VirtuGirlSong. But only one? Think are much more. If girls dont talk with us in VG. Listen breathtaking music. Yea watch show and listen sexy dance music. You will dont like? I know we can add. That is good! But…. Hugs
Ever wonder what in the world the girls could be listening while doing their dances? Sometimes i do, cause i can't get for the life of me what rhythm some of this beauties are trying to follow while "dancing". Anyway, on December, 2008, Stanzeflasher provided a short list of songs played while doing the shows:
Akon / Smack that (feat.Eminem)
Rihanna / Dont stop the music
Beyoncé / Shakira Beautiful Liar
Beyoncé / Naughty Girl
Kat Deluna / Rub The Show
Kelly Rowland / Work (radio edit)
Mary J Blige / Family affair
Nelly Furtado / Maneater
Pussy cat dolls / Don't cha
In Da club / 50 cent
Laurent Wolf / No stress
Jestofunk / Say it Again
Neneh Cherry / Trout - Buddy X
Puff Daddy / Been around the world - Senorita
Eminem / Never enough (feat 50 cent)
Snoop Dog / Erotic city - Escobar'97
Tom Jones / You can leave your hat on
Britney Spears / Womanizer - Me against the music
sometimes you just have to dig further into the threads... This list was posted in a thread where they were talking about older threads. Ooops! I did it again. ;)
There has been two VirtuaGirl songs once in an earlier version of software, but the second one got lost by the time. It was Tito & Tarantula "After Dark"
hahaha - hahahaha Joe Cocker No wait... that might work well with a non-nude setting when the in-laws pop in unexpectedly.
There's a funky didgeridoo duo right there on the same page with the Miami Vice videos that you overlooked... not sure if you overlooked the plants in this quest. ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXj5NUoTohs

My personal tag (placed here for my own future reference): This is my 1st post with the new interactive forum software. No doubt about it - I Absolutely Love it! ❤️
This one is an ethnic tune, harmony, vocals, instrumental, soothing with a good beat. It's all Greek to me, but I like it just the same. I believe the language may be Russian.
