Hi, I am using virtuagirl HD (alias Deskbabes) with both VGHD and desk babe shows. I saw some classic girl's cards for sale on this website, but not sure whether they play in latest version. Because the warning says that classic cards are only for collection. Could someone please clarify. If my latest version can play these cards (even if at less resolution), then only I will buy those cards. Please respond.

@bugkish. They do play on the latest version. The warning is because the classics are from virtuagirl 2, and are not the same quality and size as they have been transferred from tapes. Please see example and judge if you would like to purchase.

@bugkish

The reason for that warning it simply that these were done at the request of many users from the very first VGirl that started on the web in 1998. With the later versions of Windows those old programs are soon becoming obsolete so we asked for some way of playing the old shows with the current software, and actually remakes of the older shows, as good as they could make them. From the "days of old" to the remakes there is a vast improvement but they are, nor ever will be, in HD format, they have done a fine job with the remakes though is my personal opinion.
Of course, a lot of users were ***** of the quality of the remade cards "Classics" and bitching because the quality is not up to HD standards ??, even though it was posted before the cards were ever released that this was impossible to get that much out of the old tapes.
Thus Totem came up with that warning, all cards now play using the same player engine, just that these will not be HD, I don't really care though, it's nice to see "old friends" again.... lol
