Hi,
I have installed VG and downloaded a few cards. I use Windows 7 64bit. Now I need to reinstall Windows 7 on the same machine. When I looked in the VG installation directory under Programs files (386) I could not find any downloaded models files.
Downloading them again is too time-consuming since I have only 256kbs connection and expensive since there is download limit.
How do I backup my installation files?
How do I restore VG after reinstalling Windows 7 64bit?
Are there any tools that works under Windows 7?
Is it possible to change location of the the models files stored?

Try this: Click "help" at the top of the page then select "about the software". You will find your answers there in "Can I backup the models ?", "Where is VirtuaGirl on my PC?" and "My drive is filling up. How to move all shows to another drive?"

My models folder was located here (Windows XP)
1. Double click MY COMPUTER
2. Double click C drive
3. Double click DOCUMENTS & SETTINGS
4. Double click the folder with your user name on it
5. Click TOOLS
6. Click FOLDER OPTIONS
7. Click the VIEW tab
8. Choose the option for "SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS"
9. Click apply
10. Click ok
11. You should be back at the folder with your user name on it
12. Look for the folder called LOCAL SETTINGS
12. Double click the LOCAL SETTINGS folder
13. Double click the APPLICATIONS folder
14. Look for the VGHD folder
15. Double click the VGHD folder
16. Look for the MODELS folder
17. The models files are located inside the MODELS folder

I have not figuered out how to re-import them model files back into the Virtual Girl program yet. I hope there is a way to re-import them back into the program so I don't have to re-download them!
