I'm a full time student majoring in clinical psychology. I pay the bills by dancing at a premier gentlemen's club. I love this site but I have one criticism. None of these girls are even mildly skilled working on the pole. They look incredibly awkward when trying to use the pole. Training your girls to be good pole dancers would make the site much more dynamic. Trust me guys love a girl who can spin around a pole like it's her job ;)

Welcome to VGHD @Cherry2000 and im afraid you are quite correct when you say that
the girls cant pole dance well most of them are glamour models and are more used to
photoshoots than pole dancing however i do believe that they are getting some instruction in this art but as you know being a pole dancer that its not an easy skill to master, just like any other art you have people who excell, people who can do it and people who cant do it no matter how much instuction, its just the way of things, and CyberVixen is right if you want the best pole dancer on VGHD you have got to check out Suzie Q :)

Don't forget the lovely & playful Shabba...
'cause we all know that as far as pole dancin' goes...
....wait for it...
SHABBA DABBA DOOOO...too!
(...and she do it well)

Also...in Totem's defense...
Apparently the girls who are good pole dancers in clubs are not that keen on being seen all over the web stripping. They make more money just doing it in their clubs & don't want the noteriety of being world wide on the web!
This has been the response to this long stated need of VG to have good pole dancers.
Then there is the problem that the good pole dancers (so far) come up short of offering "complete" explicit erotic performances.I.E. showin' it all (at least!)

I agree that the site is lacking in good pole dancing. Suzy Q has no competion on this site..."she is the best".

That should be a sign for Totem to hire more experienced pole dancers. It would certainly help improve the new show content. The pole dancing for most of the girls is generally lacking in dynamics and/or origionality all together. so far most of the new shows haven't really caught my interest because I see almost the same routine from every new girl/show on this site. Who knows, maybe someday Totem will really shock us with a mind-blowing show that everyone will be talking about.

most girls we cast are photo models and even if we train them to dance on the pole, i agree most of them looks like what they are: beginners on a pole. should we ban the pole and stick what they know better? most pole dancers won't go fully naked or go anywhere too sexual. most strippers in club want to be able to go back to normal life at one point and don't want their image on the net. now I'm sure after casting and filming so many girls over the years, one day we'll work with the perfect one. young, prefect body and face, anything but shy with years of pole dancing experience :)

I for one i'm pleased with the pole dancing the girls are doing. As i said before, almost none of this girls can compere with the professional strippers. Almost any girl in a strip joint can do 3-5 complicated moves using the pole. So a true admirer of the pole dance acrobatics, might be happier going for a night out in town and maybe get a lap dance too, lol.

This are glamour or porn stars doing their best with an unknown for them prop. as long as i can notice the effort to do it as best as they can, i'm satisfied.

I give a lot more value for this product what Rex just mentioned above: young, prefect body and face, anything but shy.

Whaterver they do about the pole dancing is just a plus to me, not the main reason to enjoy the shows.

In my view there are three different catagories of pole dancers on VG.

1. Professional (acrobatic) pole dancers, who perform the kind of moves on the pole you would expect to see in top level pole dance competitions.

The only 4 girls in this category at the moment:-
Suzie Q (pole dance world champion 2008),
Shabba,
Laura (although only really in two of her shows -"Wet Kiss" and "White Lily")
Abigaile Johnson (unfortunately only in one of her shows - "Deserted Island")

2. Non-acrobatic pole dancers, who use the pole with confidence and style and frequently perform well executed corkscrews and swings around it.

There are quite a few girls in this category (especially since Totem brought in their pole dance teacher), but the best of them are Karina, Chelsea French and Olga Barz.

3. Non-pole dancers, who just use the pole as a prop in a sexy show. A lot of girls actually do this really well and can be entertaining and dynamic(e.g. Ashley Robbins, Tarra White, Sarah, Aria Giovanni, Bijou and numerous others), while other girls just have no clue and look really awkward, and still others (the majority) give it a good try but are not that great.

Personally I find all three of the above categories entertaining and sexy when done well. Yes there are a few shows that might be better without the pole, but I think overall the pole clips add a lot of eroticism and entertainment value that would otherwise be missing. The pole clips are my personal favourites on VG, and my customer experience would be a lot poorer without them.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more professional or competition standard pole dancers on VG, even if they don't go all the way in terms of stripping and aren't very explicit. There are plenty of other choices for those that prefer an explicit show over the entertainment value that good pole dancing can bring, and it would all just add to the variety of the product.

instead of using poles, you could use props like the chests in some of the VG2 cards, (Linda Tran comes to mind,) or desks, copiers, computers, motorcycles like you have in the past, and maybe a car if your stage is big enough. I am not against pole dancing but it would be nice to see something differenmt once in a while. and maybe the girls can bring in their own props like umbrellas, flowers, a sword :) kidding about the sword but you get the idea. In short. I think different props would make the show a little better and the girls could interact with that object and us more.

Accessories were much more common also in the early cards of VGHD but for some reason totem have cut back on these... maybe because the focus in general have changed some... Personally I like the tease and play and in those kind of cards a "role play" associated with a prop or accessory becomes more natural. Maybe one way to go is to add more larger accessories and role play in association with those for models that aren't comfortable dancing the pole...

But... I hope the team can find more athletic pole dancers. Love to be amazed by a great dancer!

@Rex - I really hope you aren't going to be influenced into dropping the pole from VG by a vocal minority. Apart from anything else, it has become something of a trademark for VG, and I think the product would be a lot poorer for losing it.
