Hello,

I did not buy any card yet, so I have to post this here.

My PC is also used by my wife.
She can see the name "VirtuaGirl" in the start menu and as hint on the icon in the system tray.
So she knows what I have on my PC.

So please add a checkbox "Privacy Mode".
This checkbox shows an other hint on the system tray icon (like "Virtual Machine Manager") and also renames the Start menu folder and the entries in the start menu.

Greetings

hello @Meister

here is more compliqued. but try this

go in C:/program file and find VGHD, in you find VGHD.exe made a shortcut, remane this shortcut the name you want and move it where you want.

go in start - program files, delete the shortcut VGHD

in the program you can use the password of security. read the password before use.

---------------
start (msconfig) and desactive the automatique start of (desktopVideoPlayer)

made CARREFOOL with this program is dangerous if you not know control it.
------------

llooll also a possible solution Totem have made VirtuaGuy, you can also tri to speak about with your wife and see what append. the best way are when you go see a friend, and the friend use the program !!!!

have luck and funrious, if you have pleasure not forget your wife can also have pleasure.

I think that lying will not be a good solution

Hello alerte,

I am a programmer so I know a "little bit" about computers.

I know that I can delete the start menu folder from the start menu.
And I know that I can create a folder called "VirtualPC" and install VG there.
I also can rename the EXE.
I also know about the password protection.

The trick to unload the "desktopVideoPlayer" is good.
Thank you!

But the main problem remains:
When I am on my PC and have VG started (I start it only when I need it), I can deactivate it by a hotkey.
But the icon in the system tray still remains and shows the hint "VirtuaGirl".

So a way to have a user defined hint text would be perfect.

Greetings

Meister, I am sure that soon or later your wife will know what you have installed on your PC no matter how much you rename it or hide it :) . If she is not an idiot - she will find what you are running on the PC.

So - my advise is just to not hide :)
