Hmmm, is it me only or the new shows of VGHD are far away from original style and tasteful erotic?

Maybe I get bored, or maybe its just bad luck, but I havent buy more that 10 shows in last 3-4 months. And all of these was a big disappointment, even that I bought these on discount.
Plus - my very big disappointment from DB shows..... that become too bad. Nothing interesting here and there... watching the casting forum - also nothing interesting to come in next months. I cant stop watching my old shows and none of new.

That is just my thoughts.... but I dont like anymore VGHD/DB.... maybe I have to sell my account... but I will regret for about hundred old shows which I like to watch all the time.

I agree with you: the change is clear. I assume it's fuelled by customer demand judging by the number of comments that concentrate on a show's explicit content. Also, in the forum 'Everything About Girls' section, two of the four sticky topics are 'VGHD Girls in porno' and 'most explicit'. Seems like the punters want more sleaze and less tease.

I thought that the introduction of DB would allow VG to return to a more erotic and less graphic style but that doesn't seem to be the case. Add to that a casting forum that is filled mainly with porn performers and the future looks like more of what we're getting now. Maybe the VG2 re-releases (if they ever happen) will be a step in the right direction?

Yea, I had the same thoughts about release of DB - that VGHD will become again sexy and tasteful content, but.... nothing like that is happening.

Maybe its just time to move on and forget about that product, sadly.

You have summed up my view as well, mvpsome. DB is a flop and of no interest for me to participate in. My one card of DB is enough thanks:) With VGHD there is no longer anything to look forward to in the weekly "new releases" as they are mainly uninteresting girls and same old, same old. Seems almost as if cloning has taken place:) Stay with the cards you like to watch and if enough members do not buy new releases or limit those they do , perhaps,,just perhaps Totem will produce cards and of girls that members want. It costs you nothing to stay and play the cards you now own:) Plus you can still participate in the forum as you have now to hopefully help persuade Totem to give folks what they want. Not what is cheapest for Totem to produce. So Totem will not be getting rich from me unless things change:)

Actually.... just checking my history.... and I get really shocked! And I mean it. Since end of February I have purchase only 5 (FIVE) cards on discount price - 3 cards are oldies which I was missing and only two "new" cards.

Thats the bottom line from me to Totem purchase team members:

• Six months (Half year) - 5 cards for 5 tickets! Or only 2 cards/2 tickets for new released cards!

Actually the situation is much worst that I was thinking.... in past days I was buy almost anything (and liked almost half of it). And now - for 72 cards released I bought only 2 and disappointed from both cards!

It all comes down to what sells I guess.

There are still a fair number of cards I'd like to get but the concentration on explicit action isn't a big attraction for me. Don't get me wrong: there are several recent additions who I think are great performers (Lorena, Olga and Sarah for example). They're happy to offer explicit shows but a lot more besides and it's the 'lot more besides' that I'm lookin for. And some of the DB cards are great too. I just wish there was more of a difference between the two products: it looks like VG is turning into DB 'Lite'.

Now that I have access to the casting forum I have noticed one trend: many of the models are under consideration for both DB and VG. This is obviously an economical way to plan the shoots, but won't it also blur the difference between the two products even further?

Interesting. I haven't seen much explicit action on VG lately. The few x-rated clips are not remotely as explicit as Maii, Natali Blond or even Ariel in their shows.
But I must say the latest girls were great. (Sarah, Angel Kiss, Olga Barz, Kami, Chelsea French, Laetitia)

I fully agree about these shows but then i really wonder what problem you had with Angel Kiss for example. She is not that explicit and looks so hot it ***** in some of her shows. The latest Kami show might also fit the bill.
Of course it's a matter of personal taste but i just don't see the great divide you seem to see between the shows you like and the newest shows.

Hmm... I have mixed feelings as usual =)

Most girls look and act hot... but some of the "soul", excitement and creativity has been lost along the way. Personally I'm sick and tired of all two piece bikini outfits and hope that the team realize the problem putting out just more of the same... Time to revisit the Idea forum and look at all the great suggestion for outfits that are listed there!

Shows from Lucianna, Lucy Nova, Eufrat, Katty, Karina, Viki, Sandra H, Carmen, Vicky, Bijou and Jana H are my first thoughts. They all bring something extra to their shows: personality. Seems to me that too many of the newer dancers are a bit formulaic.

Angel and Kami are crackers, great bodies, but they just don't work at their shows. Morgane too. Total fox but there's only one of her shows that I really enjoy. There's just no sizzle when they perform.

Different strokes for different folks and I presume the users must like someone like Laetitia or Totem wouldn't shoot her, but mvpsome has a point that things ain't like they used to be. Maybe DB Lite's how most of the current users like it?

You can't please all the people all the time, but if you're going to have two products then please Totem can we have a bit more fun on VG?

I like the more explicit shows but DeskBabes is far from being perfect for me.

If Deskbabes would offer both it would be perfect. In some shows it really does offer both(mostly in the solos there) but one complete nudity level is just a waste of disk space in most cases (lvl 4 explicit). There i really prefer the lvl 4 clips on VG.
So at the moment i got a subscription to VG and buy only some DB shows. VG still suits my preferences more than DB.

I don't understand the tasteful-erotic thing at all. If it is about taking away the sexual explicit behaviour and the explicit nudity, i completely disagree. Totem played censors for almost a year and that didn't work well. The forum was ***** with ***** then and now it's pretty quiet, so i guess Totem is doing a work that most people find attractive.

A good performance does not exclude explicitness and viceversa, imho. Also imho, i find nothing tasteless about women's anatomy or women fully exploring and showing their sexiness and sexuality.

For me it has to due with variety. I enjoy the variety of girls, styles, outfits, skills, and levels of explicit content. Very much like the variety of Gentlemen's clubs in my area. I think it would be difficult to continueously innovate in this product line. Stripping is stripping. Each person has their type. Each person has their prefered level of explicit content. I prefer stippers on my desktop not pornstars on my desktop. As @Albionhunter said, to each his own. Totem needs to continue to offer a variety to satisfy the largest number of clients.

That being said, some more ethnic women, diversity in costumes, and girls with personality would help.

I'm reluctant to buy new cards for a different reason. I like to look at most of the cards some of the time...in other words, there are very few I would actually delete from my hard drive. I have over 550 cards. from time to time (at least once a week....happened just this morning) the software seems to screw up and I lose all of my collection. Just hit "check for news" you say? Yep, that works, but now I have back all the models I wanted downloaded but deactivated, as well as losing all my "favorite" designations. I also lost playlists a while back, so I don't use that feature anymore. This is a real ***** for the best customers...the ones with the most cards.

@TallandSlimMan: Just create a playlist after marking your favorites
The information that they are your Favorites is also saved in that playlist so if you load that playlist after the collection refresh all cards you had as favorites are marked as such again.
