For your information:
the achievements are nice but do nothing except make one 'feel' good
once you get forty cards, becoming 'gold', you have the chance to see a lower resolution, the 720p, though not free
the cards with the star, called special event cards, are not actually special, but are attached to special events
special event cards cannot be bought, but may be obtained via certain games, or at the end of a progress bar
