Hello everyone,
I understand that more and more cards are being titled in other languages, mostly French.
Nothing against this, but not everyone is fluent in every language and hard to know what title each card has.
That is without copy and paste title into a Google translate or similar thing, to better understand it.

Would be nice to have English translation on file, if the card title is going to have a foreign title.
Not sure if anyone else feels the same way, but thought it would be of some interest. Discuss?

@ThePervert, I have nothing against suggestions, but please make an effort.

I keep translating the messages into English or other languages with DeepL a translator.

I also make an effort to write the English translation of my messages for English speakers.

I don't think that translating the title of a card into French or other languages requires such a great effort. Besides, it will teach you about other languages.

Don't forget that Totem being a company from France, already does a lot for English speakers.

Not an Official post, just my thoughts.

For a long time, the Card Outfit / Titles were in English only.
As we now have many more diverse Members
The Team has decided to allow non-English Outfit / Title Names.

Software / Programming ?
With the current Tagging / Search system.
It would be a huge ( expensive ) software Task to translate the Other Language Outfit / Title
Plus also be able to Then Search using the translated Title.

Example:
Suppose the Title was
Aquarelle rouge
and it was translated for you to
Red watercolor

Now you go and try to Search for
Red watercolor because that is the title you see,
The Search returns nothing, no Match is found, because the actual Title is Aquarelle rouge

The Entire Search System would need to contain the translation of Every Title, in Every supported Language
That is a monumental task.

I think ComteDracula makes a good point to use
Google
https://translate.google.com/

or DeepL
https://www.deepl.com/translator
or other online translator

One Never knows, the Language might be come familiar to you this way.

@ComteDracula
I agree. I can't even imagine how some local french users must feel. Imagine a home grown compan with almost every card with an English title xD. If the actual French people are mostly fine with that I am very happy to have the odd card with a French or other title.

I enjoy it, plus think of it this way, they have to be running out of names for the shows. So why not more French titles? Or any other languages really. Could be fun. 😄 👍 😎

I only speak two languages, English and bad 😆.
The card titles to me really don't matter one bit, whatever language.
As long as they contain sexy ladies I'm happy. 😍

I first got to this company via VirtuaGirl2 back near the beginning of 2006, though I forgot how I found the site.
And, yes, I did know the company was foreign back then, as I had made a purchase of a VirtuaGirl video in January 2006.
I am thankful that the company uses the English language on its pages.

Like, @wrightsayswow, I am very happy to have beautiful girls dancing, stripping, and/or having sexual fun on my desktop.

Translation of the text of card names, while nice to have, is unnecessary for me. If you see an attractive girl or a girl showing or doing something you like, then, does it really matter if there is even a card name?
Some cards do not even have card names. Does not matter to me. I bought those that I liked. The 'c' cards and the early 'f' cards only say istripperxxx on the card images, but are labelled as solo or duo, such as the following cards:
'c' cards

'f' cards

We are an international community so why should we exclude some members of that community from seeing titles in their native tongue.

It takes but seconds to pop the words into on of the many translation tools available,

Titles in a foreign language gives a certain exotic and mysterious touch to those specific cards. I am sure many users like that.

I think that today's show entitled "Finger More In Nevermore" demonstrates that the folks at Totem are still a long way from running out of innovative names for shows. 😂

Would anyone prefer if the cards had no titles? Like the cards I above pictured (as links), many older cards are nameless.
The titles are sometimes useful, as based on cosplay or related to a specific outfit. Most times, they are just random titles that could have been anything.

I do wish the team would add the cosplay character (at least) to the descriptions of such cards. It is not necessary of course. But helps to explain what we are seeing.

I will buy cards no matter what the title, or no title.

my two cents.
If it is important enough, I will go out and find a translation. It is everywhere as you can do this with your phone. There is an application that uses the camera to "see" words on a menu, a sign, etc. and on the screen of the phone you will have a translation.

This forum is less formal so I figure it is less important. when I get information that needs to be exact, I will put much more effort.

Those who translate for the rest: you are awesome.
Reading a different language works the brain (as stated above). Even if I don't get a perfect understand, it is a nice challenge.

I think it's clear I've upset quite of lot of people with this post.
Hence, now withdraw from Forum posts and vow never to return again, especially to post any further messages.
My apologies to everyone that I have upset and/or offended.
Good day.
