This was meant as a compliment. I have recently got a crash course on the vagaries of the English language and I'm a (bad) English speaker. If someone said she was "The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread." even I would think "Oh wow, what a high standard." with good humored sarcasm of course.😄 😎
