As it was said some time ago, it is no longer possible to post images on this forum due to the limitations imposed by Mastercard on sensitive content.

But I can't understand why it's no longer possible to insert images that have nothing to do with sexuality: a photo of your desktop, for example, or a screenshot of any other application.
Could anyone explain why ALL images were banned, even if not adult content?

If possible, avoid mentioning Discord: I only speak in relation to this forum. I know very well that Totem is trying to get people to migrate there, but as long as I can I want to stay here ...

In my personal point of view : it's easier to remove the function on the forum than let the possibility to upload images, because some users should post erotic ones and the team and the moderators should take actions against that. But these actions will not be done in a short time so, the images can be viewed and downloaded before being deleted.

It will improve the performance of the Totem servers for what really matters.. iS cards
Just like on your cellphone, 'text only' is low bandwith and has low storage requirements
Images (data) are the exact opposite and we were very prolific at posting images
As much as I miss the many images that were posted in this forum (and no fan of Discord), I am in favor of anything that helps Totem business.

In any case, i think there could be others (and maybe better) solutions than migrating forum on Discord.

For exemple, forum could maybe go on a new separated site, owned by Totem, but not linked to iStripper interface (and also not visible in any way from here). So I guess Mastercard would have nothing to ***** (since on new site there would be not anything to buy, Mastercard would not mess with it) and, also, only the real iStripper members would be able to join such a new site (avoiding scammers & spammers) - two issues solved (at least one of which is prticularly difficult to solve on DIscord).

It was all reported in the media last year. Mastercard lifted their ban on porn payments when OnlyFans threatened to close their porn biz and the womens' movement protested that performers were being ***** into prostitution. Only Mastercard were affected, because the source of the ban was two specific clearing banks, which were trying to avoid accusations of supporting ***** porn. They backed off and OnlyFans is still going.

Uploading by unverified subscribers remains banned by the likes of Pornhub. Discord is a community of verified users, but that facility would have been easier for Totem to implement than switching the forum to Discord.

So there must be something else behind it.

How does this help stop human trafficking?

I'm sorry, but human trafficking is always going to happen. Just like prostitution, for that matter. It is in the nature of man to want to dominate others.

There's a phrase that says the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Now, I think that organized crime payments are made a lot in cryptocurrencies.

I find it annoying for my part, if this is the case, but did not check, not to be able to put here screenshots of problems encountered by our computer with the program. Don't talk to me about discord, I'm not interested.

AFIK, human trafficking has nothing to do with it - the NYTimes article talks about ***** ***** and *****. And the payment processors did back off from OnlyFans, which continues to charge and pay for amateur porn:

Maybe OnlyFans got round the Mastercard thing by instituting a verification system, like Discord. So why not Totem?
