Hi! Where is the promised 20% discount on 2020 cards this friday? I definitely saw the news about a week ago

Yes, there is no TGIF and only one card released today.
Seems something went wrong again.

Week ago TGIF was announced at 3 PM CET, so just be patient :P

I'll try to contact one of the team - however, it is New Year's Day when most people are on holiday or hungover so it may just be a little delayed.

for me it was 9,63 instead of the usual 11 credits...

The most likely situation is just a delay.

I'm showing a 20% discount in the app as well as the site. However, only one model released today.

For Premium members it is showing 30% now.

That it is 30% for premium members, which as @Ullubu reminds us was the same last year, seems to be an extra unadvertised benefit for us which for some will be a nice little extra. It might even be sufficient extra incentive for some who want to grow their collection rapidly to tip the balance in favour of taking up premium membership.

Are they part of the same offer or a different one - for me the last two had "flash sale" banners which would seem to indicate that their discount has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.

The question comes back every year.

The answer is that the team gives a discount on cards PRODUCED in 2020, not necessarily releasedin 2020. That's why some of Liya's cards are not showing a bonus, despite being released at the end of January 2020.

I agree, I also buy only on reload promotion nowadays. But some people must still be buinyg outside of the promotion, so there's no real reason for the team to give us a blanket 20% off on everything instead of only offering it from time to time.

Many cards released in 2020 are not discounted. I just checked the store. Most are but a big minority are full price. Seems most of Jan 2020 and some Feb are not on discount and random cards from other months are also not on sale
