We just experienced a 3 hours servers full downtime.
Although we take every precaution imaginable, it is impossible to fully eliminate this threat.
It was an issue affecting part of the network of our hosting company in London. The problem had to do with their Cisco ACI platform which handles the traffic flow. Network engineers worked with Cisco to resolve the issue.
We were not able to communicate with our customers during the downtime. Please accept our apologies for this issue, we're now back online.
Thanks for resolving this issue. I did guess it was the servers as your website was not working either. On a positive note I do like the 'Achievements' in the Profile. Am looking forward to the challenge of completeing a fw of them....some will take years ...hahahaha
Just compliments, appreciation and a big thank you for the communication. Technically indeed something which can happen unless all precautions. Think your hosting provider took it serieus and did a good job as well together with Cisco.
Not likely... unless you think covid hopped into computers! :) More likely a DDOS on the system, or very possibly a power outage at the server end... my moneys on the third option. The internet has been intermittent during the last few days and there have been a few brown outs in our area.
