but you have to buy that one.
It is a lot more convenient to use than rsync.Surely I wouldn't disagree with you about that either. But with rsync there is nothing to set up,
It is not primarily a backup program, it is a file compare and update program that is used interactively.Rsync does exactly the same including a Backup for your Data,
And everyone should use what he feels most comfortable with in the end :)nothing more and nothing less.
You are missing the pointThat's your opinion and i leave that to you
but to use it that way would be a mistake because it would be the wrong tool.It was not my Goal to start a ***** between Windows and Linux or Beyond Compare and Rsync.
Nor was I trying to ***** linux or rsyncGood to know :)
it was you that said that Beyond Compare sounded like rsyncI said,
but they are different beasts doing very different jobs and each should be used for what it is good for.Yes of course, because i made only a suggestion, there's nothing wrong with it.
nor would I use rsync as a file comparison and editing tool.rsync - Linux man page https://linux.die.net/man/1/rsync
unless you think that sed and emacs are similar because they are both editors. What i think doesn't matter, and i leave the rest to you
and you can try it for free.Nope, Thank you but rsync does the Job for me pretty well
Yes, I know all of them, and I use themHope, you don't get me wrong but I didn't want to doubt that either.
I have used some of them for nearly 30 years (initialy under unix, not linux).See, that's the difference between us.
How can I see all my models on the mobile? I can see only 4 out of 48.
