Dear All,

To deal with lockdown as responsibly as possible, we have decided to reduce our weekly releases to six shows instead of seven so that we maintain a good level of content delivery till we get the chance to welcome again models in our studios.

This plan starts this week (two shows only will be released on Friday) and is set to last at least till mid-May but I can tell you that the quality of the coming shows we're preparing for you will quickly help you forget this little restriction :-P

Stay safe 😘

hmmm, perhaps it may be a good time to relaease some of the SECs to help offset? Either way reducing the number is a great idea and no doubt there will be great cards to come.

I wonder if there has been a look for any local talent in Paris?

Stay safe my freinds..

It's about the professional activity itself. It is not vital and therefore prohibited. Although, it may already be vital for some of us. 😳

haha, I wasnt sure at what level the ban was in Paris and agree that for some of us this could be considered a vital activity :)

I wouldn't mind 5 shows a week, as I usually check on week-days only, and 1 show in the morning for when I prepare for work is enough :)

I would say this is detrimental if you paid for the premium. Unless they plan on increasing the shows to make up and even things out for the year.

Maybe it is time to rework some older shows to better quality, where is possible. Use this time for something productive.

No problem if five or even less shows a week. Like we say in Dutch: "Nood breekt wetten".

That sounds like a great idea to me. If Totem were to charge a small fee for the improved cards to those who already own the card, that might make up for some of the lost revenue. I'd suggest charging half the difference in cost between the old quality and the new quality.

Personally, I'd prefer to see 720p upgraded to 1080p than 1080p upgraded to 3K.

Можно и правда привлечь Анну Полину. Аниссу Кейт и других французских моделей, вернуться к идее косплея монахини, вернуть людям надежду в эти трудные для всех дни.

And where should the pixel resolution of the raw material with the low resolution required for the higher resolution come from?

Sorry, but I can only shake my head at such demands in these special times.

I paid for the Premium and I personally would prefer that they reduce output slightly now rather than run out of any new output completely - because if they have to shut down totally there is always the risk they may not start up again.

Premium membership did not come with a guarantee of quantity - it provided benefits in terms of a reduced price per show and of course improved 4k quality. By my simple maths, if you save 20% per new show (Premium offer) that is around 5 credits. You can buy 500 credits for $50 (which is roughly the price of Premium membership) so you only need to buy 100 new shows a year to break even - lets call it 150 shows to include a bit of leeway. Even at 6 shows a week, Totem are producing 300 a year.

6 shows or 5, either ok with me. Most of us understand that Totem can't run at full throttle. We must all social distance and take care of ourselves.
I used to be all caught up on my shows with never more than a handful unwatched, but have gotten behind of late. This is a good chance for me to watch the last 111 shows I have not seen yet. My work is closed and it looks like I will be off 2 or 3 months at least. I'll be on an iStripper binge till I catch up.

Stay safe everyone.

No problem for me about the tremporary reduction on weekly releases during the sanitary emergency.

About this, instead, no, thanks. All updates of any previously released card (not only resolution upgrades, but even and above all also technical ones - solution of issues, and so) have of course always been a cost for the company, nevertheless all people who already owned a then updated card have never been charged for any update; and so it should stay in the future too.

I remember a post by @Wildanimal that a part of the 720p shows can be upgraded to 1080p.

Card a0655 (Olga Barz) thru a1499 (Lindsay Olsen) can be upgraded to 1080p. The cards below a0655 are 720p Only, they can not be upgraded. Totem upgraded its cameras beginning with card a0655.

I also hope, you are able to refresh some low pixel card to a better resolution
In times like these it would be a great idea

Good health to all

You are correct about your facts. In the past Totem has not charged for upgrades. This makes sense to me for technical corrections to bring a card up to to quality standards at the time of production. Remastering a card to a higher resolution is, to me, a different thing. At present there is not financial motivation for Totem to remaster old cards. I'm happy when they do, but I think a financial reward might result in more of this activity and I'd be very happy to pay something to convert 720p cards that look terrible on my screen to 1080p cards that I find acceptable. If Totem followed my suggestion, you could choose not to pay and you'd be no worse off than you are now. I'd pay and consider it a bargain.

Guys, I'm not talking about the 'LowRes' cards that were already recorded with the 'HighRes' camera. Of course there are already some that can be upgraded. I also vote for it.
In the beginning it sounded like all lows should be conjured up to highs. So, everything is fine. 😊

Likewise @wuxjnozy. I had something of a splurge on the last scratch game (60+ cards for around 300 credits) and now having sussed out how to get my favourites into the redraw pack I have around 150 girls to enjoy. And when my new laptop returns from being fixed (don't ask!) I've got around 100 cards to re-download in 4K.

I don't have time to go back to work...😉

@Dorsai6 let's put it differenctly: personally I am and will be not willing to pay any charge in order to upgrade a card which I already own.
In any case, it will be Totem to decide if to charge us for such resolution upgrades or not. I find they should anyway remain totally free of charge at least for Premium members.

At present there is not financial motivation for Totem to remaster old cards.
Not true, company can then sell them for an higher price to new members.

what I don't like about some of the older shows is how loud some of them are compare to some other ones
there's no volume you can set at which you would be able to hear the "sexy talk"
and not completely freak out the neighbours with the crazy over the top moaning
so, the kind of remaster I personally would love to see is to the audio primarily

You're right. I have no idea how Totem views the economics of remastering effort, but I certainly like to see more old cards remastered.
