EA would disagree because it's clearly very ethical and very fun...

@Totem ,
I enjoy getting discounts. So, thanks Totem for the "20% bonus credits". So I bought 1200.

So math wizards, can you add the 20% to your present level discount to get effective total discount?
ie., triple diamond 45% + 20% = 65% --- Am I doing my math correctly ?

I realize this discount level would only last while you had those discounted credits to spend.

not Exactly.. The % discounts Add together, but you have to figure each out seperatly..

100% - 45% = 55% so you pay 55% of the normal cost.
25 x 0.55 = 13.75
if you bought 500 credit for $50
$50 / 500 = 0.10 per credit
13.75 x 0.10 = $1.375 for the card

now you got an extra 20% on the credits you bought.

500 + 20% = 600 credits for $50
$50 / 600 = 0.08333 per credit.

13.75 credits * 0.08333 = $1.1458333 for the card which normally would have been $1.375
So the extra discount is
1- ( 1.1458333 / 1.375 ) = 0.1666666 or 16.6%

Not a full extra 20%

The % are applied at two different stages
1 during the Purchase of Credits, and the Other during the use of Credits.

If you want to know what the total discount from the normal card is
Take the $ price and convert it to credits based on 1 credit = $0.1
so $1.1458 / 0.1 = 11.4583 credits.
then divide the credit price you pay by the Regular Price and subtract that from 1.

it's 1- (11.4583 / 25 ) = 54.16666 % total discount of the Normal 25 credit price, but only while you still have some of the 600 credits you got at the 20% off.

combined, a triple diamond gets a total 54.1666% discount,
when they use the 500 Credits Purchase with an additional 20%

i think it is easier to just say that each credit spent cost $0.08333
or 8.3 cents per credit.

13.75 credits x $0.08333 = $1.15 rounded up to the nearest penny

and that rounds to a 54% discount.

The simplest way to see it, is that the 100 extra credits you get when you buy 500 credits presente 16% of your total purchase of 600 credits. So we get 100 / 600 = 0.166667% rebate.

So we get 100 / 600 = 0.166667% rebate.
What I meant is 100 / 600 = 0.166667 = 16.6667% rebate.

So buying a card with credits at 16% off for a 3-diamonds member represent roughly 63% off from retail price.
25 - 45% = 13.75
13.75 - 20% = 11
11 - 16% = 9.24 credits

So 1 - (9.24 / 25) = 63%

Calculations:

I have a normal discount of 45%. With the extra 20% discount for this weeks extra discount my credit cost is:

25 credits for 3K card * (100% - 45%) * (100% - 20%) = 25 * .55 * .8 = 25 * .44 = 11 credits

Now I only buy credits when there is a 20% recharge bonus so I buy 600 credits for $49.99 so each credit costs:
$49.99/600 = $0833316667

This means I pay $.92 per discounted card this week. Depending on where I shop a candy bar costs between $1.00 and $1.50. A high quality iStripper card costs less than a candy bar, has continuing satisfaction, and is not fattening.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter since the Special Event Card's paradox is not solved yet, so I won't reload and I won't buy any card until then.

There is no paradox about the Special Event Cards. At present the only way to get an existing Special Event Card is to play a game of chance when such games are available. Since the probability of wining is not know it is impossible to calculate the expected value of a play. Based on only my experience the average cost of a Special Event Card about $15. This is not very accurate because it is the average of what just one person, me, paid for a total of 6 special event cards.

Right... Wrong choice of words, but the fact remains that I won't play these gambling games again and I can't buy these cards.

Don't worry I won't go very far since I'm tied up to the software to play my cards, but there's plenty of sex-based websites and even at a lower cost, so not a problem.

To expand on this. I have all of these cards. The majority of them cost me exactly nothing because I would have bought all the regular cards anyway. I had to use the scratch card method for two of them, one because I missed the initial release, one because that was the only way to get the card. For the first of these I not only got the card quite quickly I also won more credits than I spent, for the second I was less lucky but overall I have spent only about 10 or 20 credits (one or two euro in real money) to get all 7 special event cards - less than 3 cents a card. Others, if course, have been less lucky.

not Exactly..

@Wyldanimal thanks for the breakdown, though just curious the "Normal 25 credit price" is that supposed to be the standard price per card without membership discount or shall I say the quality of the card? (Example: Low=10, Medium=16, Standard=20, Crystal Clear=25 , Crystal Clear Plus = 25 ?30?) Was just wondering had noticed a couple of Crystal Clear cards were marked at 30, figured if anything the Crystal Clear Plus would be 30.

Thanks for the Reload Credit discounts!

The show you suggested contains the word School, that's right.
But the shows with a discount refer to the student category and other categories.

It seems to me that it is pointeless trying to decide if a particular show should or should not be part of this offer. The announcement, in the first post of this thread, said

let's enjoy iStripper costumed shows with a 20% OFF on a selection of our most enjoyable costumes!

without saying what that selection was.

@TheEmu : you've pointed the right team's sentence.

At all : in general, if you read carefully what the team writes in its post for TGIF, you have all the answers to your questions. So, take a few minutes to read completely the words written 😉
