Since we can choose between classic and XXX format, I think that the XXX format should be really XXX, with no restriction.
We must find new XXX shows to improve it by looking what we can find in strip clubs around the world.
I agree that iStripper is first made to show girl's dancing, but if we look what sort of shows we can find in real clubs, some offer classical show (that we already have) and some other offer really hard shows.
I think that iStripper must offer a large variety of the choices. Each one of us just have to choose what sort of show he/she wants to watch on his/her computer.

@thefister - there are all sorts of different types of cards that Totem could produce, including "really hard" and over the years several different specialities have been suggested in this forum. There are some I would buy and many others that I would not.

If your "really hard" cards, or other speciality cards, could be produced with no impact on either the rate of production or the cost of the current style of cards then there would be little objection to them provided that they were presented as entirely different products and kept separate from the main iStripper product in the same way that the male stripper cards currently are treated.

As I see it, the problem is that any new "speciality" cards will probably not sell well enough to justify Totem producing them - even if they did not cost more to produce due to increased model fees. Totem could subsidise them, but this would probably require increasing the price of other cards which would hardly be popular and could in turn result in fewer cards being purchased.

There is also the problem that Totem only have a limited capacity to produce and release cards. I have no idea how much spare capacity they have but it is likely that producing a new range of cards could only be done either by adding new facilities or by reducing the number of other cards being produced.

If the range cards offered were to be expanded there are some of us that would prefer that the expansion was in the opposite direction to that favoured by you - e.g. to include "modern burleseque" shows in the style of Dita von Tease where the emphasis is on glamour - but the arguments I outlined above against "really hard" cards apply equally to these.

"We think it’s important even for XXX cards to stay closer to the original VirtuaGirl DNA. We’re producing girls on the desktop, not porn movies."

>> I disagree, Deskbabes with XXX Rated Porn Clips was and still is for me the reason to use the Software. I would like to know why 'Totem Entertainment' thinks like this way, instead of seeing the good and positive results 'Deskbabes' have done to the company. Deskbabes gave us variety wide-span of choices we were able to choose between 'Regular Dancing & Striptease (VGHD DNA)' & the Explicit XXX Rated Clip Cards (Deskbabes, - Porn).

"We are very interested to hear your feedback about it. Staying close enough to the DNA of our product (girls dancing on your desktop), what’s missing or need to be changed in the new XXX format?"

>> I would like to give the company some feedback but that is close enough to the customers who did like the software in the past VirtuaGirl & Deskbabes together as partner-software, when we were able to choose between variety of card options. In my point of vision the software will shrink if our choices are limited, example: iStripper Regular and iStripper Regular XXX, is alot more just regular instead there is added XXX content and with the New Format how it is now customers will eventually ask for more XXX content that bring me to the question "what is time-effort worth to come up with new format recorded with fewer XXX clips while customers ask later for more XXX Content?" because the Card type is in it's original A XXX Card. so no matter what, you end up with XXX content with such card. Look, if the company is totally disagree with the XXX Rated concept and is actually dislike to produce porn show cards, stop with it.. completly, alot easier because as company you only have to produce Regular Dance Cards. but how it is now, you produce XXX Cards but instead you give us half-work for Credits I give for the Cards. -

so, my feedback goes all about 'not' staying close enough to the DNA of our product simply it is not needed, it is not required because iStripper in it's regular type of card stay 'untouched' are still in production. The VirtuaGirl type of cards doesn't experience any effects of the change of XXX Rated format.
Create more Options, Create more Variety, Open our wide-span of choices: this is the way of thinking I support as feedback towards a company. - Shrink, Limit, Single-Product & One Type is way of thinking in my opining is very bad for the company & customers. I hope my feedback is appreciated, altough it doesn't really meet the features of the DNA of the Product. But I prefer to see both types of software and not only VirtuaGirl.

Thanks for your input about the new format for XXX cards. @Terbone I have a lot of respect for your opinion, but 67% of voters think we should continue with the new format and improve it.

So we plan to keep the current format, make improvements and do another round of poll and questions in a few months about it.

1) The models are going to introduce themselves again, as they did in the old format.
2) Unless there has been mistakes, we’re recording the sound in all very explicit clips. We can’t record sound when the models are dancing since they are listening to music and we can’t broadcast that.
3) We’re going to give up on XXX clip where the models are standing, it just does not look right.
4) There will be a minimum of 3 XXX clips on the table of 5mn minimum duration each where fingers and different dildos will be used.

This will bring back XXX cards one step closer to what they were but less repetitive/boring. Let’s talk again when the first one gets released next fall.

Will this mean that a 'silent' movie could just break out into moaning? (Not just the customers, the girls too! :)

I hope this will be coupled with not only the means to control the volume on iStripper but also better control over what clips are set to play...

Thanks Rex for your comment. Not really the answer I hoped for, of course. Altough the improvements that will be added by the new xxx rated format is very promising and seems I have to give it is fair chance. It comes a little bit closer of what Deskbabes was. By reading your comment I just get more realize 'Deskbabes is maybe over, history'. How likely will it be the Old Format will be in production, like Deskbabes in the future? I think not, it is a very sad day for me today.

But did the Team read my 'Idea and Suggestion' about the third type of Card? I really did hoped 'All' customers to be satified, the other 33% aswell.

My impression from Rex's comments is that xxx cards still cost more than regular cards. This should not be, and if they do cost more they should be scrapped. That money needs to be saved and used to get better performers, or improve quality of past cards. If girls wants to use a dildo in their show that should be allowed and the show can be marked as explicit, if a girl wants to be paid a little more for a dildo that should be a part of the contract just like how some girls want more money because they are more experienced. I hope for the best for totem and I think simplifying the product and getting better girls is the answer. There are not a lot of viola's, nekanes, merry pies, but money can help get more to come to the company. We are at a crossroads in the "porn" industry. Video stuff is being pirated at record rates, girls are gravitating towards webcaming, which is also now being pirated at increasing rates. Girls are then selling individual videos, which are immediately pirated, and it seems that software based technology has a huge advantage...in that it is nearly impossible to pirate as long as it is updated. Cut the gimmicks and start bringing in world class girls again...I bet the demand grows as hot girls stop going into the pirated porn world.

**Comment to Team, Customers & Everybody**
I really have respect for the customers who can accept the 'New XXX Rated Format', seriously my honest compliment to these members. Somehow this new XXX rated format wrings my feelings, I'm unable to use the software without thinking about the XXX format and it bothers me non-stop. I have opened threads about Idea's, Suggestion and Polls right now because I highly believed there were more members like me, but the totally opposite is true. I'm alone in the way of thinking as I do. Maybe there was some kind of discussion and polls last year about the new upcomming xxx format but I totally missed it, I didn't participate in the Forums. I blame myself so much for this. What happened if I did participate in the Forums and talked to customers back then? Now most of the customers are in 'Acceptance' phase, "We have the new format, give it a chance & deal with it" & "What we had is 'Boring & Repetive' and it is gone"... Ok, and all this I didn't see it comming. 😐 😪

Since last month became very clear to me the company 'Totem Entertainment' is not about, what does 'An Costumer' wants from our product but instead it showed me the importance of the majority, the majority changes the software with Idea's, Suggestions and Feedback. And that meens what we will have in our software over 2 á 3 months, will probaly be gone over 1'5 year. So do I think XXX Type of Cards will disappear. I'm scared the software will change so much, that XXX will be gone for good soon over a year or two. Totem Entertainment says they make the end dicissions but I have seen they implemented the new xxx rated because customers in overall disliked 'Deskbabes/Old Format' with boredom and repetive scenes, so the majority did win here. I hope in the future Totem Entertainment rules their own Software because from the roots 'VirtuaGirl & Deskbabes' was a perfect partner-software combination. It is clearly 33% of the voters actualy did want the old rated format back in production but only the majority will be heard, and my suggestion is totally ignored by the Totem Entertainment, no answer, no agree or disagree, how can I communicate with the Team if they are not given me any kind of response by the suggestions I made, that wrings my feelings aswell. For me VirtuaGirl & Deskbabes (iStripper) was more then just software, for me it was a hobby and a collection achieve to complete.

Thanks for reading, Terbone . this is me totally spoken out how I feel in this scenario, I'm out.

@Terbone

Maybe there was some kind of discussion and polls last year

I do not remember a dedicated thread but there were several posts regarding the format of XXX cards. From what I remember there were three common views,

1) that they had become somewhat boring because of the concentration on table clips
2) many of us appreciated the non-XXX portions of these clips
3) many missed the duo cards

Totem then decided to change to the "new format" and the form chosen this "new format" reflected the views previously expressed in the forum - the omission of duo cards despite apparent popularity presumably being due to how well they actualy sold and the extra cost in producing them.

It would of course be nice if Totem had the resources to cover everybodys preferences, including but not limited to

iStripper (ex VirtuaGirls) stripteases
iStripperXXX (ex DeskBabes) mild hardcore shows
iStripperXXXExtreeme very hard core shows
iStripperRRated - very mild stripteases
iStripperBondage - ***** fetish shows

and could make a profit on each separate range, but Totem neither have the resources to produce a much wider range of shows nor are they likely to make any profit on most of them. Given that there are limited production resources every card produced that is aimed towards a minority means that there will be one fewer card aimed at the majority (this is an oversimplification because it assumes a hard split between the minority and the majoritym but it serves for prurposes of illustration). Depending on how much profit each card makes it is quite possible that even catering for a large minority (say 33%) would not be cost effective. Only Totem have the data that would allow us to even begin to judge what a sensible business decision would be.

I'm surprised how the figures from the poll got interpreted. Question 1 and 4 are clear like water.
For my undstanding question 2 and 3 are going in the same direction.

The statement "..... ,but needs significant improvements" imply to me that we need essential, important or extensive improvements.

That on the other hand imply to my that we're far away from something what we can call consumer satisfaction.
I'll make a case that 61% of the voters are not realy happy with the current.

To me it is relative easy. A labled xxx-card stands or falls with the amount of xxx content. A card specially labled as xxx-card, doesn't matter what's the name of the procuct (Deskbabes, istripper etc.), with less than 20% xxx content isn't realy what it implies to the consumer.

If we're talking about "tuning" or improvemnt I'll associate this with, how xxx will be presented.
Table, pole, headstand, cartwheeling, young vs. mature, beautiful or average, costumes or what else.

**Majority**
689 votes out of 6621 views, the real majority doesn't even vote. Really wonder what is spinning around in the minds of the other 5900 customers, "What if the real majority is actualy Deskbabes Lovers and prefer to Old XXX Format?" Of course, the voters will be rewarded very soon but still that doesn't meen this New XXX Rated format can have some quite bad results soon or later.

Seriously, Totem Entertainment have to add "(Private) Chat Boxes" somewhere in the software. I really want to talk to other peeple, well especially to the Team.

@Rex,

Rex, when you do another poll could you at least mention it in the News section of the Carousel? I only stumbled upon by accident since I don't read the forum on a regular basis. I believe that if more people were aware of the poll than more would participate in it. As it is you have no where near a representative sample of your customer base. You are only reaching the most active members of the forum this way and not getting any idea what the rest of the customers are thinking.

Totem Entertainment, the XXX cards must NOT contain dancing. It is to much dancing! every single card have dancing right now with the new format. Replace it with something else!! Cosplay, Acting Or Wardrobe features or just Stand Position!. Everything!! but NOT Dancing Performance!

A iStripper Card is different then A XXX Card. Please!!, think about other features then Copy & Paste iStripper concept into XXX Cards, Create something unigue!. I prefer to experience iStripper with Dance Performance, with my own Music added but with XXX Cards I seriously wants something else!! Old OR New Format doesn't matter.. but make both types of cards unigue!.

I purchesed a 'iStripper' Card', performance: Dancing Dancing Dancing Striptease, Alright!! (Smooth body, Sexy Ass and Seductive faces) iStripper is really ment for Dance Performance, that is unigue.. It makes the card SPECIAL (I Will Buy These kind cards!!)

I purchesed a 'iStripperXXX Card' from the same Model, performance: Dancing Dancing Dancing Striptease, This is exactly how the Regular Cards start aswell!! A TOTALLY COPY & PASTE CONCEPT !!

This is all fun at the beginning but I really dont want to see "Dancing" in XXX Cards. This is actualy repetitve, double and soon or later boring!.

iStripper Cards = VirtuaGirl (Dance Performance) Please, Accept It & Embrace It!
iStripper XXX = Sexual Acts (Sex, Porn & Erotic)

Dont fuse those two types of cards!! 💔🔞😠 really, why make from a boring & repetitive type of card a another boring & repetitive card.

Please, do Imagine! I watch iStripper Cards and iStripper XXX Cards both types of cards activated: first I enjoyed the whole Dance Performance Show of the iStripper Regular, as followed up next a XXX Rated cards comes up and AGAIN I have to watch "Dance Performance" before I can enjoy Sexual Act Clips!!, Do you really dont see this is even more REPETITAVE from Card to another Card ??😱😱😱

AND Aswell, From time-to-time I turn off the Dance Performance Cards because the models walks from side-to-side quite often, for that I had the solution just to watch the iStripper XXX Cards because with this type of cards in the past the models did stay on one location on the desktop (most likely, 99/100) So I had these type of Cards activated in combination with other software (Games, Homework etc).. with this 'new' type of XXX card, I only will have models walking and dancing from side-to-side (Non-Stop) on my screen. Maybe more personal issue, but still I cannot use the software anymore how I used to.

Your last post sounds good. 15 mins of table xxx and a nice strip tease to go with it.

Looking forward to next fall

Toss in a duo show or two and small size to 100% and i'll buy a few thousands more credits : )

1. New xxx cards with dancing clips are already being released (the first were Tina Kay's ones);
2. We will start to see the "improved" new version in fall, as Rex said.

@Terbone Hi, you can try however the ratings and polls IMHO are largely controlled by a select few who collect every card.
This could include moderators and Team members who don't pay for cards,
however you will seldom if ever see their views expressed openly on card 'Comments'.
Others are 'collector' members who pay for and buy every card issued.
While these ordinary members do rate, judging by thread comments, it is probably heavily slanted to their "early bird purchase" ie: their own peccadillos and tastes eg: whether standing, upskirt, shoes, boob & ass size, and so on. Certainly many members personal notions of beauty here often seem skewed away from current commercial memes of contemporary beauty (eg: breast size) that you see ubiquitously elsewhere.

The unfortunate thing, is that I believe brand new member iStripper installers get the default sorting of their 'My Collection' based on these 'ratings', when it should really be default sorted to date of purchase. A self perpetuating system of bias imho.

Well, to be truthful, I'm not sure how a first time member's My Collection' is default presorted when it is first installed, "date of purchase" is probably more likely, however its a tad puzzelling that iStripper has put " Rating" as second preference in the list and never included 'My Collection' to be sorted to those cards' "date of issue".

@both, Yes, you would think they would allow you to sort 'My Collection' to your own rating, rather than the collective. They had a favorites heart you could use once and took it away. Sorting options look biased and that ultimately has an impact on Ratings & Polls

@Rex, concerning the composition of iStripper xxx cards:

Why not instead, make 2 separate versions of iStripper player.
The free version for regular clips.
The premium version iStripperPremiumxxx

This xxx capable version could have some additional actions available on
settings> controls> contextual menu>

eg:

'Jump to total nude masturbation'

'Jump to invisable'

**Comment to Forum & Team**
I think, The community of the Forums in overall is quite low populated. The silence over the whole Forums bothers me a bit. I have like 5 á 6 threads active at the moment and those who does answer and give opinions are always actualy the same customers. How can a official made poll created by the Team has like 680~700 Votes, and 7000+ visitors, while if I create a poll or thread, very few customers is interested in participate. I have to wait hours & days sometimes to get information or opinions from others. How serious is the Forums? because I highly doubt Totem Entertainment have the proper statestics and information by the very few population of the Forum. Three scenario's are possible to be true:

1> The Community is totally not interested in the subject I wrote about in my Threads/Polls. How can this be true, the company says: "the enormous majority want the XXX Cards to be changed to something totally different, A Regular Porn Card" and with my Thread & Opinions I talk about the same subject but with the message I dislike the new format and the Old XXX Format have to go back into production. That is what most of my thread is all about. I honestly expected complete community against me, but that actually did not happen.

2> Is there are 'real' majority customers want the xxx format to be changed or does the 'real' majority of the Customers Database not even bother what happens the the New XXX Format OR Old XXX Format, aslong they are able to watch new models and new shows, Fine No Problem!..you wont hear them ***** ever.

3> Or customers doesn't visit my Thread and dont participate the Polls I made on purpose because they have something against personally, I dont know.

But what I do know is: 'I have to wait hours and days for responses from the community'. Of course, I know placing comments is completly optional. But how did the company came to conclusion the "Real" majority did want the XXX cards to be changed in totally other product? Did the company really achieved that many answers from the Community? 😕 ... Because I have really no idea how to attract peeple to my Threads.

Look, 5 á 7 customers being disagree me with my Idea, Suggestion and Opinions cannot really be seen as majority, I think. Because if you want to talk about 'Majority', you will need real big numbers based on how many the company have on costumers. First: How many customers does the company have in total?, Second: How many customers does visit those threads about subject XXX Cards and Three: How many customers does actualy vote & write opinions?..

And is the Thread or Poll available enough and easy to find for everyone? doubts, because I still believe you dont have the real majority. Doesn't the company self want to see huge number of reactions from costumers before start with a huge change card type? .. I meen 700~ votes is not much compared to the membership database you actually have in total. So, the conclussion would be more like: "the majority of the community doesn't bother what's about to happen with XXX New OR Old Format", because you had alot of numbers Visitors by the Thread: New XXX Cards but sadly they didn't gave a vote or opinion.

I'm guessing that the majority of members can't be bothered or for some reason are too shy or maybe their English isn't enough up to scratch.

Or there's another option. Some of us just don't know what to think as yet and therefore didn't vote. That includes me.

There appears to be around 1,000 active forum members, judging from the vote counts on other threads. Of course, there may be a lot more silent ones too...

@terbone I haven't on any of you post. It's nothing personal but they topic doesn't not really interest me, the post are too long to keep my interest, and there is something of a language barrier I think as I don't always understand what you are trying to say.

That said I'll comment on what I remember of your various post:

1.) In general I prefer the NON-XXX cards so the new format can only have upside for me. I own plenty of the XXX shows but purchased because of the girl and not because it was XXX.

2.) I would not spend more for for XXX nor any other special shows at least not much more. This is a light diversion for me and I think of the money I spend the same as I do for my morning coffee. That will not change if prices go up I will buy few cards.

3.) I too want Totem to thrive but I wont be donating money? The best thing for totem is to build it's customer base as if does not cost them them substantially more to sell a 1,000,000 cards versus 1,000 cards. The XXX cards might help build the customer base but they must also be careful not to offend their core customers with higher prices or dilute the product with cards that have little interest or worse are a turn off to the base clientele. Instead of donating money maybe consider promoting the product and help them find more customers.

4.) I expect only a small percentage of customers read the forum. I really only started to see the upcoming cards and casting then later to see the other (very talented) members artwork such as the full screen shows. Over time I became more interested in other topics but I still frequently go weeks without looking at these forums. For totem the only pole that should be relevant is sales. I've been a member for a long time and I've seen them experiment with various things and I'm sure the things that generate profits they stick with and the things that don't get pushed for the next experiment.
