Tried searching for 3k an not a thing found ;/

Anyone know the recommended resolution for playing 3k models on? how much bigger are file sizes compared to 1080p?

The memory space of a card in the resolution of 3K is about 700MB.

I converted my entire collection to 3k that is available. Haven't regretted it yet. My monitor is a 27in 1080p IPS. To get the most out of 3k on a 1080p I recommend a IPS monitor, digital connection(DVI, HDMI,DP) and calibrate your monitor.

Playing 3k cards on 1080p monitor isn't a problem, it's what I do (i've an Iiyama ProLite XB2483HSU 24in with AMVA screen) and the quality of the clips is very good.
But if you have a little HDD, so you can save place by purchasing cards in 1080p.

@KingUbu : oui, la qualité en 3k est meilleure, même sur un écran 1080p. La différence de définition se voit sans problème.

I have 2647 cards and in 3K it use1,6 TB in 720 it use1,2 TB so my advice is put the models at least on a 2 TB disc
