It was not posted before VG expiration. Because the Summer is not predictable :)
To short answer why iStripper better than VirtuaGirl see item 9.
Chapter I. Introduction
This post based on my usage of VG and iS, and analyze the member's posts. Of course you can have other opinion, but before disagree you must have some time of usage, because just visual comparison in short trying of new UI with quick jumping back to VG will not complete and in this case can decide your habits instead of your mind. The habits is more important for you than new abilities? Are you sure? And in your life too? ;) IMHO instead of saying to woman "no" is better firstly try her and support her. Today she's simple, tomorrow she can be so sexy that you'll can't believe yourself that you might say her "no" :) Trying new hardware/software/technology - the same things, today you may think "it's not in my taste", but tomorrow you can have already new taste and don't want come back ;)
About the bugs, problems, and inconveniences in new iStripper written more than about advantages, therefore here I will summarize my positive impression. Can't say about new builds for MAC, but about PC versions no doubts - Totem create good software and the member's posts meaning "new iStripper ugly and not comfortable" are just not true and disrespectful to the team effort in providing new version with support in cross maintained system. This company don't drop their customers as one day sellers! And continue their work in complex of production and delivery aspects include client-side software. Will iStripper or not will have what not included yet and still with it compact - we'll see later, a now about what already done and given to all.
Chapter II. The advantages of iStripper in comparison with VirtuaGirl
1. Stability of client application with integrated components under NT-based systems. iStripper crashes rare than VG versions and in desktop mode on properly adjusted OS no crashes at all. Last VG also with not bad stability, but have a lot of patches in the code through last years improvements, and obsolete method of protection. It is clear as sunny day that completely rebuilded client program was needed not only for rebranding and transition to new platform.
2. Much faster speed and smart processing include integrated downloader, browser, support system. iStripper working fast even on old PC with one core CPU and one GB of RAM, in desktop mode it is the fact in extremally overloaded system with gigantic swapping - no crashes and no freezes with two performers in all 2d area under ONE core, navigation through thousands of cards, reading the forum, and downloading new demos at once. Of course some memory leak is present and stay until app restarted, but overall, from applications in home desktop class iStripper programmed good, it is traditionally quality product with wide compatibility, low system requirements for desktop mode and balanced consumption in full screen, which are corresponding to the status "One from the best Applications in Entertainment sector".
3. Functionality is much wider than in previous versions and easy to use, especially in choosing for playing. iStripper is not just new UI version, it is completely new line of product with NEW CORE of program, full integration, better logic in the file operations and network requests processing. Totem's software based on Qt framework, the famous platform for software development, since early Qt releases from Nokia Corporation (they bought Trolltech), and today, when Qt is a progressive world project with a biggest community on the planet Earth. On the powerful, extendable, and compatible development platform "The future - is now!" became the real things. In iStripper the Qt abilities used much more than in VirtuaGirl, and only one this advantage in software architecture is already enough for use new line of product.
4. Presentability of production in new version is much wider - 8 carousels with 11 slots each instead of 1 with 20 in VG. The carousel is exclusive feature of Totem's software, I don't know other applications with such good realisation of product presentation. In new version the releases in featured carousels more selectable for playing and looks better.
5. Fast, easy, and unlimited access to all demos, photosets preview, bonus videos. It's modern and progressive strategy used by many companies in the various sectors. Totem is a small team, but their style as always innovative with saving the important things, which calling the respect and adding positive items to their good reputation.

6. New card's page, dedicated to release information and usage, include detailed clips list, fast access to bonus content and related cards, ratings and comments. In previous versions the part of it was on 'My Collection' tab with reduce UI of collection's area, and other part was in half sized pop-up window, which was slower and less usable.
7. Fast and comfortable internal image viewer, the photos can be easy viewed online even without downloading in zips. In previous versions the viewing was in modal window with freezes, up to full unusability. In new versions such inconveniences just not exists due to much better software architecture.
8. Fast and easy access to the profile and community by integrated web functions. A now in most cases the login via browser not needed, the reading and posting is more usable directly from client application. My last short test of posting images in one forum thread from version 1.2.114 passed without errors, fast and easy (a kiddy reaction and moder's disrespect to me in those thread have zero matter because not related to really new web engine). Last usage clearly shows me that new software and new forum engine are much better (401 and 403 is not a reason to stop because the team working and resolve such occasions). I like VG website, but sorry I don't want use the forum with limits and corresponding rules which are old as my first PC from the previous century :)

After end of transition to new site and complete functional of the forum I'll forget VG site with all oldest limits. I prefer the powerful web and hope the rules will corresponding to real specs. Sure Totem as all companies with big amount of requests to all their websites have unlimited traffic and old rules on VG site about images posting is necessary only due to old web engine. For me easy to understand how Totem wanted the total changes many years, the old web engine it is constant troubles when on this engine the main site which must be always accessible. Members wrote "I like VG site and don't realize how will I use new site". They just forgot how it's hard - maintain the site on old web engine. Oh nooo! Just impossible to write how it's bad... oh mazafaka this old engine crashed again! Stupid users posted many pictures and site is down again!! ))) Again bunch of calls to support, again boss screaming "our site down aaah quickly all run and up" and run to the office with high piruettes in the air as on Olympic games))) All coworkers run together with high jumpings and singing in horus "again again it happen oh-oh-oh (dbl piruette), when the end of this, when we'll be on new engine oh when-when-when (jumpings, saltos, speed up), we want be happy aaah trouble again ***** happen again oh-oh-oh (horus) run again jump again go-go-go up-up-up", the partners asking run together with me "can we look our presentation today?" Again I answer them "yes of course but a little later", again f... with provider's silent, again on the next day all forum in user's posts "can't access please help", again the support working hard and no anyone to give me the coffee)) Return to VG site: on the next day the users post the pictures again, the moderators screaming them "RTFM! Stop! You warned!", but users like VG site and forgot that website for sale the production, not only for community)) They like VG site))) I'm glad to see that new iStripper website easy receive pictures from me)) Conclusion: ASAP move all to new site and forget old web engine as night ***** from the sleep)))

9. iStripper is better in the security aspects and just necessary for access to new releases, the same as for update/restore the purchased shows. Main exe module of program protected by Aspack technology and all client-server communication controlled from one exe, it is more safe for user's accounts. If you want have your account not stealed then you must use iStripper else the team just can't identify you or not you use your profile, because VG builds are not supported and your identification data can be processed on the server-side if received from new builds only. Once again: if you don't want lost all your purchases, you should use iStripper client software.

Many users want continue use VG and talking as a small kids "you ***** us to new version, but we want stay on VG, you engaged only in rebranding for more money". Many people just don't know what it is in reality - maintain and support the products on old versions include server-side hardware and software, client databases, client-side software, websites, transactions, with time limits, without stopping the production else just out of business, etc. In most cases enhance of old system with count of all aspects is a big inadequate spend, and in some cases it's just impossible at all. Upgrade is much resonable than improvement of old system. For example - can you comfortable use modern apps on old PC park? ;) Yes, you can (if you have a big knowledge and very strong character). Yesss, you did it, all working well on old PCs, you save at $5K without purchase new hardware, well done, congratulations )) And a now calculate your spends ;) A TONS of your time and effort - oh mazafaka, you calculate once again and understand that you lost at $10K. No, it's not all, be more honest, calculate all, yes-yes, how much you don't get due to busy with old system? Wooow, you really extreme guy if you can so easy lost at $20K just for experiments with old versions ))))) The members who talks "I won't update" looks as naive people which are very far from the reality.
It is clear what about asked those who said to Totem "we want use VG", "remove the fucking pop-up about update" and so on. They are lazy to understand or just don't want understand the real cost of such "experiments" with old versions on all levels of the system. The people like a small naive kids want continue use VG because it is not their problems HOW create and deliver, maintain and support the product on old versions and lost the money due to user's wishes. Impossible! It is not only client-side software, it is the SYSTEM and one improper element will cause a big troubles for other components, and as result the company will have the ***** in their heads every day.
Some members thinking "I long paided customer, they must give me the ability to use VG because I don't like new iS". No, they don't must support the old version if provide new software, it is clear even without reading end-user agreement. The customers have a rights to get the client software without a bugs, with clear appearance, and have moral rights to asking features like skins in new builds because it was in previous versions. But nobody have the rights to get the support of old version or another build of old version. Until the company in business, their clients should use provided by company client-side software, the last official version, from signed by company installation distributive, and should follow the instruction (if don't know how correctly install new version manually to avoid default behavior during each update). If the member use old version, the company can't guarantee the access to purchased production. If the member use already expired version after information about this expiration, the company can't guarantee nothing at all, include access to the member's account.

Did you know, how long Totem enhance the website on old engine, and how long was improved their software also? It was VERY long and many times. But a now it is impossible! Easy to understand that rebranding and new client-side software are the parts of bigger upgrade, i.e. transition process. Therefore just update to iStripper and wait. Can Totem stay alive on old system? No. Can you download and play purchased shows? Yes. Have you access to all demos? Yes. Working software fine and the features in progress also? Yes. Resolve support your requests? Yes (thank you Manue and Celine for fast response and actions, I have new question about the logging of my transactions in 2012-2016 hehehe). Acceptable the prices? Yes, because given the constant discount for all UHD shows (thank you Rex once again, it was risky but right decision, I'll still buy). Want Totem lost you? No. Even if you just user and not paid - anyway you are the target of marketing as everywhere in modern world. So be patient and stop asking about VG. The time impossible to freeze, no way back! Even if UI will stay without skins very long - iStripper already better than VG in desktop mode, and usable in full screen also. Needed a time for the fixes, implementing features and new nice improvements. Forget the old, use new, be progressive! (hard rock, end of promo clip hahaha).
