Releases tab is missing Forum / Everything about iStripper

A short time ago, I made a little test with another account. When I went to the 'featured' tab, I noticed that 'popular' was the default tab. I also saw that 'releases' tab is missing.
Query: is this by design that new users and those with no (or few) cards do not see the new releases?
