I'm curious about a few things. A survey, if you will.

How many cards do you have in your collection ?
How many of those are downloaded ? (Breaking that answer down into each resolution)

And, as the title says........
How much disc/storage space do you have being used by VG/DB ?

Another thing I'm curious about......
Hard Drive ? Solid State ? Internal ? External ?

3K - 258
1080P - 693
720P - 1816
480P - 259

How much disc/storage space do you have being used by VG/DB ?
Total space including Pictures and Videos - 2.0 TB
Data Folder 3.4 GB ( stored on Local C:\Drive )
Models Folders 1.81 TB

Hard Drive ? Solid State ? Internal ? External ?
HDD - External USB 3.0 - 5TB Drive
Backed up Three Times on 3 other HDD ( these are only 2 TB drives ) so once the size of the models folders reaches 2TB
I'll have to Get larger HDD to use as Backups.
(monthly I copy whats New from my drive in Use, to the Other Three backup copies.)
So if you Count the backup's
I've dedicated over 8TB of HDD space to VGHD

Wyldanimal http://www.virtuagirl.eu/userProfile.php?usLogin=Wyldanimal : are you absolutely nuts, or just got more money than you know what to do with. 3 backups of VG . You own all those that you have bought, if you lose the data you are allowed to redownload them all again.

VG Classic = 2 cards @480p
VG = 1092 cards @720p (highest resolution available)
VG = 366 Cards @1080p
VG Interactive = 233 Cards @1080p (Only have 1080p monitors - will go to 3K when I upgrade my monitors)
DB = 201 cards @720p (highest resolution available)
DB = 113 cards @1080p
DB interactive = 4 cards @720p (highest resolution available)
DB interactive = 90 cards @1080p (Only have 1080p monitors - will go to 3K when I upgrade my monitors)

Total = 2101 cards

Stotarge is a 1.74GB partition on an internal 3TB hard drive.

All cards are downloaded along with their respective photos and videos (1080p where available).

The drive currently has about 418GB free space.

I keep mine on a secondary internal drive with a platter. I thought about going ssd for a while but it just seems overkill for price X space X performance. I go through a few times a year and look at the all the cards. I then clean out those that dont interest me anymore and the cards whose resolution hasn't stood the test of time.

379 active out of 2308 available cards.
351 VG
28 DB

3k - 179
1080p - 168
720p - 32
420p - 0

I don't bother with pictures and video clips so my collection weighs in at 309 GB's altogether.

480p = 29 cards
720p = 675 cards
1080p = 339 cards
3K = 240 cards

Everything, models & data, is on an external 1 TB WD Passport Air. Currently using 826 GB of space. I usually connect this drive to my Mac Pro. When I'm on the road, I connect to my MacBook Pro.

Photos and Movies are stored elsewhere. Photos are 50 GB and movies are 45 GB.

I also have incomplete copies on two separate laptops.

Another thing I'm curious about......
Hard Drive ? Solid State ? Internal ? External ?

Desktop - internal HDD 1.5TB partition (shared with user data, OS and programs are on separate smaller partitions)
Notebook - external USB3 aluminium caddy with 7200rpm 500GB HDD fitted

Also backed up to another External drive from the desktop collection. Why? Yes we can redownload but cards that get removed cannot be obtained again. If you have a local copy though you can still use them.
