Is there a way to disable forever demo cards that you know you will never buy. It is annoying to look at the demo list and see that 90% of the cards that are there I will never buy. Instead I have to go to website or Virtual Girls Store to see if something is new. It just seems like a ***** concept. FYI, I have over 1400 cards so I can''t imagine how people with a few deal with this hassle.

This came up a few months ago. If I remember correctly, somebody mentioned writing a script to delete demos from the models folder from the cards one doesn't own. All well and good.

Then one can set the carousel to only download demos of your choice. (ie: turn off automatic download of demos).

Sorry but I don't remember if anyone wrote a script to do the first part. (Jump in here if you did!)

I don't see this as a ***** concept. Totem are in the business of selling cards and need to keep their products in full view of their clients. Any card a member doesn't own yet is a potential sale. I realise that as our collections grow, the choices dwindle so we have to put up with a fair amount of repetition. Once a member owns every card to date then the carousel remains empty until new cards are released. A few suggestions were made to keep the carousel interesting but I don't recall anything being done about it.

So, to answer your question, yes it can be done either by a script or deleting demos one by one manually.

Personally, I don't worry about the repetition. If I don't like a girl, I don't buy her. Just skip to the next girl or do something else. No big deal :)

I agree they are business to sell cards but if I haven't bought that card in years why would I buy it now! It is like cluttering you advertising space attempting to sell Encyclopedia in a strip club! Maybe some people may find use it for it but I really doubt it.

A little psychology... Knowingly or not, Totem have introduced a system that keeps their products in the face of potential consumers. Including 'old' products. One day, you might be browsing thru the carousel and see a girl dancing that, on that given day might stir your loins enough to think, why not? Then you may buy that card.

Our moods change all the time and some of us may even be ***** or high. Then we do silly things like buy things we didn't really want.

To me, it appears that Totem recognise these human failings and capitalise on them.

All I will say more on this is... Fair play!

If you don't like, then don't watch. Simple :)
