For QA I had made some full Screen Scenes that I could use to check
for transparency and also the framing of the clip.

I think I was the only one that used them.

Mine were just basic Black and White, with a high contrasting color.
fixed in the shader.

So I made some modifications, with Color and Alpha Uniforms in the scene file
so the shader doesn't have to be edited.

Here are the modified scene files you can play around with.
These are just very basic shader controlled colorizations.
But thought I'd share.

Very nice scenes. They all compile on my computer. 😊

Only scene FG159, seems to have some jerks in the movement of the girls on the swings.

It must be said that the winds must be quite ***** at this height. It is normal that the girls are moved from all sides.

You have to watch out for car accidents with these kinds of scenes. 😆

Seule la scene FG159, semble avoir quelques saccades dans le mouvement des filles sur les balançoires.

Il faut dire que les vents doivent être assez violents à cette hauteur. Il est normal que les filles se fassent déplacer de tout bords et tout côtés.

Il faut faire attention aux accidents d'autos, avec ce genre de scènes. 😆

I just hope there is a parachute at the end of their ropes, because the fall might be *****.

But knowing you, I'm sure you've thought of that.

Let's hope they don't get run over by a car, rendered to the ground the poor little ones. 😆


J'espère juste qu'il y a un parachute au bout de leurs cordes, car la chute risque d'être brutale.

Mais vous connaîssant, je suis certain que vous avez pensé à cela.

Espérons qu'elles ne se feront pas écraser par une auto, rendu au sol les pauvres petites. 😆

Comme le signale @ComteDracula, la scène 159 est saccadée comme l'est la scène 118. J'aime bien ces clips balançoire 😍
Je me demandais si une telle scène ne comportant qu'un seul modèle ne pourrait pas s'exécuter plus facilement sur nos pc ?

As @ComteDracula points out, scene 159 is jerky as is scene 118. I like those swing clips 😍

FG163 does not compile for me. White background,

FG164, is static as a background image, but I guess it's intended that way.

And no change in the jerks on the 2 FG165 scenes. With the intermittent white flashes and without appearance of the logo of the name of this scene, on FG165. I imagine that there was no possibility of making changes on these 2 scenes FG165 and FG165WA.

FG161, FG162 and FG166 are ok for me.

FG161, FG162 et FG166 sont ok pour moi.

here is a quick GL_ES test scene
It's just a Solid Background with a single modle

If you are using an Embedded version of Open GL/ES
the Background will be Green

If you are NOT using OpenGL/ES Then
the Background will be Red

All of my systems show a Red background meaning, none of them are using GL_ES

Open up the GL_ES.fsh File and modify this Section like shown here,

Yes, The Background Should be RED, on a desktop system.
It would ONLY be Green, if you were using a system with Embeded Open GL ES.

That is the purpose of the Scene.
To Test your system to see if you are using
Open GL / GLSL = RED
or
Open GL ES = GREEN

Oui, l'arrière-plan devrait être ROUGE, sur un système de bureau.
Il serait UNIQUEMENT vert, si vous utilisez un système avec Open GL ES intégré.

C'est le but de la scène.
Pour tester votre système pour voir si vous utilisez
Open GL / GLSL = ROUGE
ou
Open GL ES = VERT

So if I understand correctly, having a desktop PC, it's ok to have the red wallpaper.

But what is the purpose of this check?

Is it to allow the creator of the scenes to know if they can work on the two systems you describe above?


Donc si je comprend bien, ayant un PC de bureau, c'est correct d'avoir le fond d'écran rouge.

Mais à quoi sert cette vérification au juste ?

Est-ce pour permettre à celui-qui crée les scènes, de savoir si celles-ci peuvent fonctionner sur les deux systèmes, que vous décrivez plus haut ?

Update of FractalGarden117.scn

Made some changes to FG117 to improve the model's movement
(less jerky I hope). I wanted to allocate its own memory
to the clipsprite, as clip memory seemed to be affected by
a demanding shader being used in the camera node.
  • Ran the Clip inside a framebuffer which I limited to
size: 960 x 540
  • rendered it there with a simple antiAlias.fsh shader
  • Used this output in the clipsprite node where I was able
to animate and scale (to invert) it.
  • Both shaders in the .scn have been given new headers to
make them #version 140 compatible

With these changes FG117 model now seems to run a tad smoother
on my rig. Glad to know if the model stutter is better or worse
or the same at your end. Tks

FG168 (Some relief for the testers I hope :-) tks guys
An example of manipulating a shader as a 'sprite' once it
has been rendered in a frame buffer. The scene uses two
shaders, both are mounted on quads (one in a frame buffer) &
they are both monochrome, so there are few extraneous textures
to process. This scene with two shaders, runs ok on my rig
without any apparent model stutter.
