Yes it is possible to adjust the contrast or make a scene black and white or do any sort of colour ***** that you can think of. You have to use fragment shaders to do do all of these things.

My EmuLib library provides several of these - in particular the Adjust_RGBA, Remix_RGBA, Quantize_RGBA, Blur and Sharpen shaders. You can find others among the Shadertoy Scenes

All three hue's fixed (hue3 has an additional effect), there is some weirdness with hue3 the longer it runs but meh.

Updated FG074 to replace drip.fsh with Glass4.fsh and
among other thangs, overlaid a 50% opaque skin tone because
previously it was losing the face avec too too much white..
Corrected backgrounds orientation.
Also lessened the background's acute wobble.

Don't forget you can use your 'down' key to change the textures while in fullscreen.

I did not have time to make up spec texture folders for best effects. These simply use
open working pic directories. Not all combinations of textures work as well, so you may
need to hit the 'down' key until something renders that you are happy watching , otherwise
just compile your own folders of images and point to their paths in the .scn code (source)as below:

@Carstrip, i recomend using Atom for editing the .fsh (.scn too but it cant error check them) files as you can add a line interpreter to check for errors while you work. https://atom.io/

Add whatever picture you like into Textures, the brightness of hue is the y axis of the texture.
