Since the voting in the 'cage' thread by Rex is about 50/50 for and against, and was started before the cage was introduced, I wondered how people would vote now that we have a few shows with the cage in it.
Is the cage here to stay?

I think the cage looks silly and blocks the view of the girl, so a 'let's get rid of it' from me.

Well, can't quite say I love it just yet but I think it has potential. They seem to still be experimenting with it. Needs some tweaking with the lighting and to be used with some imagination on the photographers part. Got some kinks to work out, in other words.
Keep it straight on with the camera, as presented here, instead of turning it at a 45 degree angle, and it's less intrusive. Adjust the lighting so it illuminates the interior of the cage better. Perhaps hang a light directly above the cage......seeing that the top seems to be open. Most importantly......Creativity and Imagination.
A bad girl being punished ? Then released for giving such a good performance ? A duo with a prisoner and her jailer ? A girl wiggling her way out ? Have the girl dance both inside and outside the cage using the bars as a semi pole ? And so on.....and so on.
Don't just keep doing the same thing over and over like the bathing and showering videos I've grown so disgusted with and it should end up being something we can enjoy having in the clips......I think....uh, or hope.

Like I said in the Dancing cage thread, it does not add any value and it does limit the girls moves. For me they could do away with it.

as has been said, it's a work in progress.
Experimentation with different angles, Spacing of the bars, etc..
There were a few clips that I don't think it worked real well in, but then there were a Few where it seemed to be a natural element for the Model.
I think it can be a welcomed addition / Change to the Strip pole, as long as it's use is not over done.
It's not something we should see in every card.
I like it, and am looking forward to some more creative scenes with it.

I immediately remove the cage clips for all shows that have them. I would prefer Totem discontinued use of the cage but to be honest I could care less if they leave it since removing them is easy enough.
I will say that anyone who is not a platinum member should make it a point to become one so that they can disable the horrendous cage clips. That perk means SO much more now than it ever used too. I seldom used the clips function but I am grateful it exists now that we have the cage.
I find the cage incredibly annoying and in no way enjoyable. I was beside myself when I first saw the cage clips. I hope it goes away forever.

I've already said many times NO and still NO it is.
@Jinn86 made a good point about Clip Selector - this tool has become very helpful indeed, otherwise I won't buy these cards which contain the cage.
I'm using mostly Nature or Fantasy backgrounds for my Girls and this ***** thing just spoils everything... doesn't fit into.

I love the cage especially if it is used in the way suggested by 91hebasu where a model is being punished or is a prisoner etc.

I like to think Im open minded wth an imagination.Im on around the same page as 91hebasu.
i neither love it or dislike it...rather undecided.
I agree it has potential...but untill (as mentioned)lighting,camera angles.spacing.etc is corrected.Then its Still too early to tell.
Then you have the other variables....models,outits,acts.the correct wallpapers,etc.
It could be an interesting development to say the least.
one problem I see is with the cage itself.The frame looks too computer generated or animated.especially at the bottom.Im not sure if that could be corrected.
Something also seems to be missing.It could use some stage effects.
Light fog from a fog machine for example.It Would provide a softer transition from cage to backgrounds and help hide the chrome bar eye sore at the bottom of the cage.
So...not too bad so far for a new project I think. :)

Personally, I ***** that black chair and bathtub much MORE than the cage!
Keep the cage and use prisoner or other appropriate themes suggested.
Lose the tub and chairs!
And ask the ladies some meaningful questions in their interviews!

i think innovation is a great thing.
otherwise the show after time are all similar and this result in boring.
more costume and outfit change, also cage, swing and wings, other object like motorcicle and chaires or ballons and x-mas trees and other accessory viewed in past can give a bit more interesting to the show and make it more original.

I voted no, although I'd probably be ok with seeing it in a couple of clips every once in a while. I haven't seen it contribute much yet. Maybe in a sexy prisoner theme, or an S&M theme ... once in a while. But a girl in a bathing suit in a cage? No thank you. Mostly it just gets in the way.

I'm with the majority who want to get rid of all cage clips and have Totem sell the darn thing for scrap metal. Using the cage automatically means that clip will be a standing clip, and I much prefer the clips with the model sitting on, reclining on, or climbing up to the task bar, where we see them more close up. I also prefer nothing to block the view, and the cage is an annoying, major view-blocker.
However, if we don't succeed in getting rid of the cage, 91hebasu has some fascinating ideas for how to use it in an original way.
It's nice that Platinum members can delete specific clips, but when there are fewer clips per card these days in the first place, the number of non-cage clips left is fewer still.

I think cage idea brings variety, I agree. I still don´t like it because as many members had said, and I´m agree too, it blocks the girl. In my case I just delete those 3 clips which contains the cage show. So I don´t mind, it´s ok for me, let´s that the members who like the cage enjoy it and the ones, like me, who don´t like it just delete the clips. For me that´s easy. But I´m afraid that some other clips had gone. In the other cards there were two kind of clips which share the same name: "Close shot, task bar over" 1).- With the girl really OVER the task bar. 2).- Even when the name says OVER, the girl looks BEHIND the task bar and here the girl looks bigger and in half body, this one has gone, and that´s what I don´t like I really enjoy seeing the girl in both ways. Since the cage clips are present this last clips had gone, please get them back.

I just want to see directly the girls. The cage many times hiddes the lips of girls when kissing and most important parts of the boddies. I am not interested in paying a fee to see an object. Please take out the cage or, at lesst, take ir out of 50% of the cards!

Have not got a chance to watch any clips with the cage but as member84392371 & MAVERICK302 stated if it takes away from the amount of close shot clips we get i vote NO!

As said in another post, we're going to balance more the minutes between the pole, the cage and the task bar depdending on the gir'ls abilities. On top of that the cage will be turned with its opening facing the camera so we can see what's going on in there.

Ok thank you Rex. Depending on the girls abilities is a good way to enjoy the show. In the last Isizzu card 1278 "Up the middle" you can enjoy Isizzu dancing all over the space, and this is the kind of shows I love, I really enjoy this card. I would like to see gils dancing more in their shows. Dancing is what realy spice the shows.

I would be a fan of more stripping than anything. More walking/dancing around and taking clothes off. If I can get more of that in the cages, then I am pro-cage!

I think the cage should not be thrown away nor should it be over used.
It is an interesting prop & should be used for specific effect.
For me that effect should be in the realm of suggesting capture,restraint,punishment,sensual/sexy torment, wanton horniness, etc....
For example...
Girl outside cage, back to us,arms grasping bars above her head as though tied there, writhing suggestively to give the impression as though she is being whipped as she looks back at us with a slight look of wincing & horniness...
Girl dancing IN Cage humping & sliding up & down bars as though she is trapped inside & So horny!!
Girl dancing IN cage directly tempting us to come in & ***** her!(Amps up the "you can't get to her" tease aspect).
Some of the new Babes using the Cage have done some nice tease play.
A babe just dancing in the cage, without the above effects is just NEUTRAL- I.E not Erotic-and that type of clip, if done too much, creates a huge Boredom factor where the Cage is concerned.
I want more on bar action & I want them to be directly erotic, not prancing about & then 10 seconds of Pink!
DON'T USE THE CAGE TO DO LESS ON BAR CLIPS!
(3 Xplicit per card Minimum for me)
In DB I do not like it when the Erotic X action happens in the cage & not on the bar because it's either blocked from view or too far in the background.(Case in point -Katie does a nice anal clip in the cage,but its LESS EFFECTIVE because it's too far away!)
My desires are well into the faked but Hard S& M realm too but I know that's not where Totem (& many of you) are at, so like anal lingus I don't hope for that Evolution anytime soon.
Keep the cage clips in the restraint, capture, really horny realm for best use of the cage and only use it when girls are willing & able to do that well!
This way it doesn't become an overused bad cliche' like those bath & shower vids became.
Familiarity( an over viewed bad cliche) breeds ennui (boredom)!
Unlike CV...I have no Hubby to get Jiggy with so I need a little more COMPLETE action in ALL my cards!
