I´ve been following this whole vspolls situation here and I´d had the time to think about many things.
1).- This is an entertainment site and vspolls started as a part of this entertainment and at the first I enjoyed and even I posted about three vspolls. Making the presentation, choosing the best photos, trying to give a highest difficult level of thinking about who do you like more was funny.
2).- Suddenly vspolls became some kind of fever and there were more than 2 or 3 at the week because everybody wanted to create a challenge under their own point of view. Here is where the problem started.
3).- Tacia wanted to organized the way we should work to avoid any problem with moderators and Totem so he, other two or three members and I were agree to create some internal rules for us.
4).- Then a member started ***** about the repeating girls on polls. And he was right about it, BUT the way he suggested it wasn´t the best way to doit. Suddenly it was like a demand more than a suggestion as if he was our boss or something like that. Anyway we agree just taking note about the suggestion and not answer in a way that could start any conflict. This was after the problem known for everyone here.
5).- Mods have explaining us once and again the big amount of problems this polls had generated to themselves and they right. If I´d be in your place maybe I´d quit because it´s too much, you have been too patience and we appreciate it.
6).- Then some other member commented something that really made think and this is really important because it never crossed my mind. Comparison could be offensive for some girls. Comparison is offensive for itself.
Honesty it never was our intention to offend any girl here but he is right. You see; man is always competing and we always do it just for fun but woman could see it in different way. We are not trying to ***** someone´s feelings. As tacia said it once “we love all this girls” Well if my polls offended any girl here I beg them to forgive me. I repeat: offending never crossed our minds.
The forum is some kind a play yard where we are gladly invited as long as we stick to the Terms and conditions. And this is the most important part “as long as we stick to the Terms and conditions” so if we want to play here we have to be conscious of this principal rule.
I live in a country where people ***** each other everywhere, you find problems each second, problems get to you for free. The only place I find some of peace, calm and entertainment is here and I don´t want any problems with Totem, the Mods or the entire community. So in order to stop more problems I quit posting polls must of all for the point number 6.
Cheers, peace and greetings everyone. Thank you

Well spoken Maverick302, everyone's beautiful in his/her own way.

Somehow though, and I hope I'm not out of line here, I think it's a shame there wasn't any response (unless I missed it) from the team on the many suggestions to handle this problem before it went out of hand (it's not like it was the first time with polls). One could say in a certain way the mods were left to their own devices and had no other choice than to act like they did.
I still feel that adjusting the forum to better cope with multiple posts/hits from polls or picture posts would have prevented it, or at least reduced it significantly.

Your intentions were honorable, and it was fun while it lasted.

Thanks Maverick (and all)

I think you find that the rule that most everyone ignores or forgets about is this one:

Our members must also respect the spirit and tone of our community. Breaking these terms and conditions which includes failing to respect the spirit and tone of the community or postings/ emails which demand a disproportionate amount of time and moderation by the Community Team may result in your account being suspended or, in extreme cases, banned. The length of suspension will be at the discretion of our team and can be permanent. If your account is suspended or banned, you will be prevented from posting on our boards or registering new accounts with us.

@Cartref: I understand that stuff about the rules, no problem there. If the mods decide something that's fine with me even though it may not be to my liking or the rules get interpreted by the mods differently than I would, that's what they're mods for (I'm a mod in a different site myself). Doesn't change my point though, perhaps something for the ideas section..

While it was posted elsewhere, the mods did request sometime ago a separate category for polls and as yet we have not had a reply.

And for better or warse the mods are used to dealing with issues on the forum without contributing support from the team, although we have ways of raising issues with them whemn we want guidence.

Maverick – your words and sentiments are beautifully expressed (and in your 2nd or 3rd language no less!). We have worked together on VsPolls and other things, so I’ve come to know you're intelligent, humble and kind-hearted, and that it bothers you to think our creations could be considered instruments of unfriendliness to the women we present. Expressing your thoughts here in the forum is an excellent way to help shape attitudes and approaches to the UserArtwork VsPolls.

That said, I’m going to respectfully disagree with you and Zoony and everybody who feels a VsPoll does mental or psychic damage to the models. I believe the reverse is true, for these are no ordinary women. (The models don't even know the polls exist but that's beside the point.)

These special girls are like sports stars and actresses. They perform to entertain (and to get paid). They expect to be judged, to be dissected and discussed from head to toe, and hopefully praised more than not. To ignore humans who crave the spotlight is more *****, imho, than to give them a grade. In a VsPoll the grading should be gentle: Post opinions but not *****.

Cartref spoke of the spirit and tone of this community. UserArtwork VsPolls also have a ‘spirit and tone’. It’s meant to be fun, a lighthearted celebration of 2 beautiful women, with artwork and images included.

You are being asked: Which girl most strikes your fancy?

It's like being offered 1 of your favorites desserts. Choosing it does not lessen the other treats in any way. They’ll still tickle your tongue when you taste them.

I don't get all the poll drama. I love them. Who cares how many there are or who is in them? Nobody is ***** anyone to take them. This is an entertainment site if something doesn't entertain you keep it moving. There isn't any reason for all the drama. Let's just scratch it. Everyone should stop bringing it up. It's boring.
