I've got a bunch of MP3s I've bought at different times using Rhapsody and it just occurred to me that I could make those MP3s play during the shows. So I added some of them to the play list, but oddly, nothing is playing. It's possible that they contain DRM, but since they do play properly at least from Rhapsody, I would think VirtuaGirl would have no problem playing them back... but I could be wrong.

Just upgraded to .70 but never tried the feature in any previous version. Suggestions?

Alright, one of my MP3s finally played. Is it only certain clips that trigger the music or should the music start with every clip?

@Gardner they should start with every clip however when i got the download
for .69 after i sorted that out and installed .70 my music files didnt work
very great, so i deleted them and then put them back in ,it seems to work fine
now dont know if doing that made any difference or not wasnt to bad i only
keep 10 or so on it at one time but if you have lots it could be a *****

Ah, fudge. :( So we have a questionable playback infrastructure combined with music that I've never tried before on this system.

Guess all I can do is start with the two MP3s that have played so far, see if they're consistently triggered, and then test out the rest one-by-one.

Anything known about which codecs work/don't work? Will it play WMA? RAX? M4A? (no, that's not the problem, trying just plain MP3s so far, but I noticed it will let me select other kinds of files if I show all files)

Update: It's not my files. The MP3s are not always getting tripped. I can't detect any kind of a pattern so far; I was just watching Ennie (in card 189) dancing to an unheard beat fooling with her binder. Clearly if music was supposed to be connected to dancing, that would have been one of them.

Actually, there is one pattern: every time I manually click a "play" button in the My Collection screen, I hear nothing. ...but you can't go off of that alone, because I've had a clip playing every 5 minutes for the past 3 hours, and heard music only 3 times.

Aha! I didn't notice that before; will definitely change that to 0 and try again. Thanks.
