I guess I am missing this somewhere but noted the reference to VIP and Platinum members - I am "relatively" new to VG and an ordinary paying member :-) What are the other classes and how does one become one of those ?

This are just levels based upon the number of shows you own. VIP is the maximum level you can achieve, with 300 shows or more in your collection and your star is red. You're a VIP user already, so you will get some kind of perks, like accesses to the Casting Forum and seems that you'll get to buy exclusive cards soon for the VIP status and let's see if anything else.
