I bought the membership, bought a bunch of tickets. Selected 10 shows, and nothing is working. The files aren't downloading, the cards arent in my shows, there are images of the cards I bought in my downloading list, and I am not getting answers from tech support. Can anyone offer some advice? Sorry,... just getting frustrated quickly. Kinda starting to wondering if I bought a bill of goods...

Something else I noticed, I have over 50 "Checking for updates" bars in my downloads section. They keep going to 100 percent, but the list isn't getting any shorter. Someone, HELP please... I've been messing with this for hours now.

I see you have the cards in your collection on the website. That's good, cause the buying part went without troubles. Now, servers tend to be down for some hours everyday. When that happens, you just can't download anything or everything end up downloading with errors, also the rights fail to update and your collection can be lost for a few hours till everything returns to normal.

Do you se the "V" icon as an "!" on your desktop? If you do, there's a no connection issue. In the software, in the advanced settings you can also see the message of no connection. If your problem is related to the servers, there's nothing to do but wait and everything should be ok latter.

Hope that's all the problem you have. If not, the guys at customer service will help you, just don't expect them to answer right away, sometimes they do, though, but rarely outside business hours, french time.

Thanks for some feedback. No, there is no ! and the green "connected" message is there. It has been like this since 3 PST. I even uninstalled the software and reinstalled it. I also stopped all the downloads except one, and it still isn't going anywhere. All I can see is the Checking for updates progress bar goes to 100% and then the next one switches to Updating Rights, counts up to 100% etc. The list here is huge, there are no card icons displayed,... simply Checking for Updates and a blue recycling symbol... does that make any kind of sense?

Hum, not to me, but i'm not a tech guy. There's a quick fix, though, that sometimes helps with erratic behaviour like this. First, please be sure that you have installed the latest version of the software. If not, install it. Close the program. Next, open the task administer and terminate the vghd.exe process. Next, search for the vghd folder in your PC. In the data folder, erase the models.lst file. Restart the program. If nothing is happening use the check for news button and wait a little. It might start working then.

Sorry i can't help you more, but the real tech users will be here posting in the forum in no time.

One last thing, every so often I lose all the cards in My Collection. It goes from showing all 13 downloading to 0/0. Does this help at all?

I terminated the process, found the VGHD folder, however there is no data folder, nor a Models.lst file to erase. I give up. Think I am just going to uninstall, and ask for a refund. I can't figure it out. Thanks though. I truly appreciate you trying to help

No problem. But i must say that there must definitely be a VGHD folder and the models.lst file. Look for it in the drive you installed the program. In the event that there's no folder for certain, something went terribly wrong with your install. This, at least, is a fact.

I recommend you to wait for the customer service answer or wait for our local experts help before quitting this VG thing. Is pretty funny and you will be glad when the chicks finally start stripping for you. ;)

It helps if ppl can know what operating system you have eg: WinXP or Vista etc.because that affects where the possibly corrupt models.lst file is located.
Can you do a search for MODELS.LST file from your C drive root directory and make sure the search covers ALL sub directories.

When you find models.lst file, delete it and reboot.

Note that on a Vista OS the models.lst file is in the pathway
yourUsername/AppData/Roaming/vghd/Data.

Vghd normally installs in the following location:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\application data\Vghd
Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Vghd

The vghd folder contains nothing but two folders: Data and Models.

The Models folder is where the animation files are stores.

Also, you may have to 'show' hidden folders, as they may be hidden ones.

control on the site your passworld in help - Customer Service - 1 Login / password - I've lost my password

quit the program VG.

uninstall the program VG with the unsintall of VG. use the option delete all.

download the last version of VG on the site.

the program ask you if you have already one account, of course you write yes.

install it, in the start of install, the first or second page, you can see the button Browse here change it to place your root C:/VIR or one externe hardrive if you have.

after wait, no quit the program, no made check for update, control in VG in advanced if the 3 options of download are selected

have luck.
