Personally for me it was Melisa that was the 'straw that broke the camels back' so to speak. I was perfectly fine watching the free trailers and I was pleased, but not overly impressed. And then I saw my first Melisa trailer and that sealed the deal. Totem got me hook, line, and sinker. I don't have many cards so I can't offer any criticism on the other girls as of yet, but as I sit here now watching Melisa two thoughts come to mind:
#1 - OMFG !!
#2 - WoooooHoooooo!!!
As long as there is at least one girl of her caliber I will be a VGHD fan for life. But that goes to show that peoples opinions and tastes are as varied as the many users that are here.

I am being critical because that is the whole point. At between $1 and $4 per card, and almost 600 cards, this is not a cheap hobby. I feel that a thorough analysis of the value of every single purchase is essential; I don't tumble to paying for idle tittilation unless it's of superb quality, because cheap (or free) thrills are not hard to come by in this day and age, and I've learned hard lessons about the value of even a single dollar.

@EvilDoer360: Well said. That someone out there likes what I do not pleases me; I am simply stating my opinion and the thought process which led me to it, as this is how I believe the mind evolves.

@V2now: I'd like you to have this bird (holds up hand).

@Severin: Jenni is on my "mid-faves" list for the moment. She seems to be pretty good, but I've seen better. When I feel like squandering more money on this addiction, I'll have room for her in my collection; for now I'm only after the best of the best of the best, so as to keep costs down.

As an aside, I find myself irritated with the ratings system, not only because it's clearly glutted with so many ratings that the average no longer changes from a single vote (a comprehensive breakdown of # votes per # rating would be far more meaningful, if still easily corrupted through mass idiocy), but also because...well, let me put it this way. I have at least 8 shows I've rated a 10, probably more than that; the lowest rating I can ever recall having given was a 6. If these ratings are to be meaningful, the scale should be optimized to represent the nature of the subject matter; no girl on VGHD is butt-ugly, and a vast number of them are top-notch. So for the votes to be meaningful, they need to represent "degrees of perfection", as it were. I think perhaps there should be a list of qualifiers ranging from "Totally not my style" through "Needs Improvement" and "Pleasant but Average" into "Epically Awe-Inspiring" (or, as the site's front page puts it, "Makes Grown Men Weep").

Where, exactly, did I say I know them all? I judge on the basis of the information I have. Like I said before, the quality of the trailer largely determines whether I will ever see the full show, and the quality of the first full show I see will determine whether I ever buy another from the same girl (or from a different girl in a similar costume). You wouldn't buy a Godiva chocolate bar if it came in a wrapper that said "Dried-out slab of donkey crap" on it; the product needs to be good, but the packaging does too. If it isn't possible to make a meaningful decision on the quality of 40 cards, why the heck would I ever buy 400 more?

That is unfortunate. Because I cannot afford to wait for everything to be revealed to me. I have not the money to buy every card nor the time to watch them all. So I must mercilessly disregard anything which does not almost instantly prove its worth.

(That said, sometimes a dancer does grow on me over time; I'm liking Walleria a fair bit more as I watch her longer, but she would still lose anytime the choice was between her and someone feisty who's obviously having so much fun she can't restrain herself.)

What for to argue? Member has expressed pity and subjective opinion which has no value neither for others members, nor for Totem.

The majority of girls here are not able to carry out beautiful a striptease, probably did it for the first time. What do you wait from them? Many members are not capable to pay two tickets for a card. And you wish to see here professional dancers? hahahaha. I have learnt to enjoy a usual striptease and beautiful female bodies. From vgirls I do not wait for professionalism.

@Pellucidar.
It was inevitable the thread would go in this direction, criricism threads always do. (plus, the fact that you're basing your judgements on trailers does'nt help!)
I can see where you're coming from, though. Why not try a different approach. Post a small critique of your daily trailer & ask for others opinions based on your own preferences, dancing, sexy moves, or whatever rocks your boat. You'll get more constructive comments, as opposed to just listing a girls faults.
I'm totally shallow and base everything on looks, expliciteness, sexiness, etc...so I'll be no help whatsoever, lol.

I just realized, a "Critism Thread" and I have not once been critical of the fact there is not enough black honeys on the site :) Guess they are right, the mind is the "second" thing to go with old age.

Personally I am pretty satisfied with VGHD,,with the previous exception:)
If some are critical of the fact that perhaps the gals are not the greatest dancers or even strippers then guess we will have to refer to the site as "Girls taking their clothes off on your desktop".
If I like a girl and her cards I buy 'em and if I don't like them I don't buy and if I buy one to check her out and do not like I don't get any more. Certainly not based entirely on ratings but rather preferences.
Anyway, it is much cheaper, permanent and more discrete than the alternative of either paying 20 a dance at a strip club, to have her actually on your laptop, or putting on the long trench coad and chokin' the chicken in perves row:)

Most of these girls are green around the ears when it comes to stripping in a "strip bar" environment, They are mainly models and some are even pornstars, and doing VGHD is something new to them. given there are some good dancers like Suzie Q and Shabba. So I give the new girls a break because they are new to this.

An update - I finally tumbled to Walleria and picked up the show "Sex Symbol", which has already become a favorite of mine. So my opinion can change, but like I said, I have little choice but to make snap judgments based on whatever information I have, as I'm now $60 down in just a couple weeks on a program I originally downloaded because it was free. I'm not buying in again until I can spare $50 for the best ROI, so this thread will become an accumulation of my assessment, whether or not they may be entirely fair.

Latest verdict: Carie, "Lovely Room". Nice, but nothing special; on my long-term agenda, but not my shortlist.

Pellucidar: "At between $1 and $4 per card, and almost 600 cards"

Membership costs $59.70 for 180 cards plus for the first time only you subscribe, you get an additional 10 cards with which you can buy ten special offer cards.

In Europe we manage to do maths (Notice it is plural), now my maths tells me that $59.70 divided by 190 is 31.4 cents per card.

When you have your first 180 cards you re-subscribe for another $59.70 which gives you another 180 cards at 33.2 cents each, in other words you now have 370 cards for an outlay of 32.3 cents per card.

You could now take out yet another subscription for $59.70 for 180 cards giving you 550 cards for a total outlay of $179.10, that's 32.6 cents per card.

Actually it isn't possible to pay more than $2 per card and you have to be pretty damn stupid to pay more than $1 per card.

I am not interested in a subscription - bad enough that the trailers are random, I'm not paying a dime for any girl I didn't hand-pick as a favorite (or at least a curiosity). "A la carte" is made for picky folks like me; for the price of two subscriptions I can probably get every girl I particularly want off the site, and I don't have to do it in lump sums.

Today's subject is "Chikita: Commando Attack", which like my previous Chikita trailer is pleasant but utterly pedestrian. She's extremely pretty by my standards, but she just sort of stands there as if expecting you to be impressed - which, admittedly, she has the face to get away with it, but it still means she fails next to the real class acts like Lucky and Melisa (the latter is still not my style but I recognize that she's talented).

Another recent trailer is the duo "Chicago Girls", which is cute but is much like most other duos in what it lacks. It does confirm for me though that Totem owns real pinstripe suits; Mina in "Gangster Movie" should have been given one of these outfits instead of the absurd faux-tuxedo nightie she wears.

Lest I be all negativity, all the time, I remain very impressed with Lucy Nova's "Hippies Forever", which I think holds the speed record for getting me to purchase it while it was still on my account as a trailer. That brilliant smile and the fact that her outfit is so different from other all-red costumes made her a standout hit, and I love the way she slips out of the dress back-first as if it's just falling off of its own accord without her bothering to care.

Aria Giovanni's "Halloween" has been a mild disappointment, but only a mild one. She's been a favorite in girlie pics for many of my years, but this doesn't seem to be her at her best.

More ranting to come.

Better watch out, some of these models DO read the comments, like Melisa, I'm surprised she hasn't PM'ed you already.

Melisa is a nice person. Also i know from her personally that she herself wasn't happy with her dancing in Little Poem because she felt she moved too fast. She explained this with the fact that they played fast music in the studio and she adjusted her speed to it. So she surely won't be pissed if someone mentions that hes not happy with her show. But i agree that you should stay nice with your critic. Greetings btw @Pellucidar from one Walleria fan to another;-)
Also not one card i own was bought on subscription even if i admit it would have been much cheaper. i valued my choice too much and when i started i thought that 20 cards would be enough. ;-)

@Starryk: Heheh, yeah, I had similar delusions about "enough"...

@pianogrinder: Why would she PM some random guy who doesn't like her? Assuming that you in fact meant "posts" when you said "comments", even if Melisa has times to read every word written about her, which no celebrity does, she certainly can't be naive enough to think everyone is going to like her. I said myself I could recognize she has talent and that I just don't care for her style; that's high praise compared to what some crank could come up with to say without ever having even seen her, just because other people were talking about her and he wanted to flame. (I hope it is clear by now that I am not such a crank, though I wouldn't be a bit surprised if one or more of you thought this at first.)

"Chicago Girls" is now on my longlist as well; Keana Moire is a favorite of mine and wins me over for this show since she has only two of her own I can enjoy. Chikita continues to fail to impress me.

@Pellucidar: Melisa PMed me because i posted after her first show was released that i'm not completely happy with her face. But that was a thread that had her name in the title.
The shock for me was that she agreed with me in that PM. Then i exchanged some PMs with her. It really felt great to write PMs to a Vgirl and even get answers.
So it's not so impossible that she writes you a PM too if she stumbles across this thread as i'm living proof that she already did that and i don't know how many other users got a PM from her too.

Well it hasn't happened yet, and I don't expect it to.

So, we're into the new year, I have 50 cards (actually it's saying 56 counting five trailers, maybe there's a glitch somewhere), and since I don't really have time to watch the ones I have, and am running out of harddrive space, I can't justify getting more at this time. But that means this turns from the exclusively negative "***** about shows I don't plan to purchase" thread to the "***** about shows I don't plan to purchase AND praise shows I plan to purchase but can't praise on their comment threads until I do so it'll be a while yet" thread. And I have no new complaints, so here goes some praising.

Axelle Parker, "Pink Circus" - This girl's way feisty, almost too much for me, but it's too soon to say. There's a good chance she'll become an enduring favorite of mine; I love the way her butt jiggles and the way she bares her teeth.

Elya, "Clubbing" - So far, not spectacular, but not bad either. A distinct possible.

Well i see you don't have Axelles show.. well i always refer to that particular show as the Speedy Gonzales show. I got the feeling my player runs the clips at at least 1.5 if not twice the normal speed.
She really is like a whirlwind in that show..
The question is if you would like that or not...

Honestly, it would probably depend on my mood. Sometimes she might make me tired. But either way, she's on the shortlist, as is the new show "Bianca: Black Falcon". Also I've downloaded the VG player that lets you control which clips play, so that will enable me to "tune out" her high-energy performances when I'm not up for them. In the meantime, maybe watching Walleria will make me more interested in Axelle; I like her, but it is just ***** how slowly she always moves, as if she was dreaming.

Okay, seen all three trailer clips for Axelle now, and she is definitely on the list; there is such a thing as 'too feisty', but she isn't it, she's juuuuust right.

Also, Alizee - "Classmate". First show yet where a girl stuck her tongue out at me. Not sure what I think of that, but she's got nice long legs and a cute fetishy outfit; the only thing I ***** is the hair, and I could probably learn to love it.

If you like explicit shows Alizee is a good option. She is the fingering queen of VGHD as she mostly uses more than 1 finger when she does it.
Also she is one of the more energetic girls when it comes to using the pole.

I do like explicit shows, very much. Not just because they turn me on, but because seeing women act boldly and shamelessly makes me feel like the world is a better place - male flagrance and female repression, what we have in society as a whole today, is entirely backwards to me. I love seeing women behave wantonly, because to me that's how women should be; they deserve the freedom to enjoy their bodies without apology or hesitation.

Anyway, in other news, Krystel is now on my must-have list. Seriously has the darkest skin I can recall ever having seen on a woman, and I go for superlatives big-time.

Also, Natalie Blond has possibly the single nicest twat on the site, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it than the one card I have now. I was soured on her at first because my first clip from her was "Merry Christmas", with that ***** giant gift box she pops out of. (I really loathe the use of huge props in shows that clutter my desktop.) Now, though, she's on my list.

Ariel, "Sexy Rodeo" - I'm an Ariel fan for sure, but I had my doubts about this show because, well, the outfit is ridiculous. Cowboy chaps are not sexy, not even in red; they're just bulky and silly-looking. But I'll admit, Ariel's talents can redeem even this, if only by the gigantic pant-legs being offscreen in many clips; red leather and the hairstyle she sports here make for a very fetching combo, and so I'm glad I overcame my initial impulse to not even download this one.

Lucianna, "Sweetheart" - Yeah, back to the negavitity today. I would characterize Lucianna, especially in this outfit, as just too darn cute to be sexy; she looks like my ***** and I don't even have a *****! Plus she makes with the prop comedy to an extent I don't prefer. The least interesting trailer I've seen in weeks; absolutely zero interest in purchasing any of her shows based on this. I'm sure she works for anyone with a kiddie fetish, but otherwise, pfft. (Of course, she'd be a prime choice if you didn't like Virtua Girls for the sex at all, just for the pretty faces - she's definitely nice-looking and innocent-seeming if you're into that kind of thing, but if you were you probably wouldn't buy her fullshow anyway, since she might get naked in it.)

Jenni Gregg, "Pure Bliss" - Also kiddie-themed, but she does it right. The guileless smile on her face as she hugs a teddybear is gorgeous. I didn't care for her play-acting with the pole but it wasn't too bad. A maybe.

I agree with the fact that comments should be fair. Also you can´t rate a card you don´t have, based only on a few trailers and some pictures. I never rate a card / model which show i dont have ( i have 2 accounts in case some shows are not on this one - and some one may wonder why i rated some shows i seem no to have).
Often I saw card first and thought , "OMG, why the hell is she a model here", but i never rated her only with seeing her preview.
Most times i was suprises how great the cards were, when i got her over subsciption, and even if she is as model not my type i never judge her body or look. My opinion is not a reason to give a women a low rating, judging them over costume - mimik is ok.
Sadly many comments are bad due to breast surgery, best example Zoe. What we should not forget, she did the OP maybe because men asked her to let the OP made.(Zoe, if you read this, you look great. A big compliment). Fazit: FAIR Comments should be only given if the full show had been seen.

Hi All,
Sorry, I didn't gave myself time for reading all the comments here.
But in my opinion, just only possibility to rate the card when you have the card in collection. Not just rating by a non nude card....
