Intro: Note that the picture neither reflect my own personal feelings toward the latest releases nor imply that the latest releases are medicre; however, critics of the latest releases have brought up a valid point for all to consider: are the latest cards lacking? Not simply the card itself or the production, but the selection of girls who resemble "girl next door" types rather than actual strippers.

Compare the old Miss Roxx to the new Miss Roxx and decide for yourself because VGHD is a stripper website yet it has, as of late, catered to, as one user puts it, a "Youtube audience". I am not arguing for Totem to go to strip clubs and pay professional strippers to do a VG show, but rather considering the criticism of the most recent cards who some feel deserve a yawn.

Aside from the debate about explicitness which is now irrelevant what with the new and upcoming Desk-babes, many girls are simply dressed up and labeled strippers. They are either not comfortable with their bodies (Gwen), not comfortable performing in front of the camera (Manon), are so awkward that their show is quite flaky (Heaven), or cute but overall lack replay value (Lea T.). The patented excuse is "it's their first show" and the girls need time to adjust to the job, but the outcome of a show is a matter of confidence and nothing more.

Confidence can make or break a show even more so than the production of the final product. If one was really seeking perfection in the production, then they would edit parts such as when a girl completely stops a show to get direction, end the use of constrictive outfits (see Eufrat's Demonia), and make the pole optional for girls who either ignore the pole or have no idea what to do with it.

The production will always be the same, and will not be as polished as one could hope so what is left to make a good show is solely on the hands of the girl. Compare Nikita Valentin to Karina for example, and one will see Karina has a variety of moves and is a pure dancer, while Nikita is very limited, however, both never fail to give a bad card because they are self-assured. They already decided what they will or will not do in front of the camera, and know what works and what doesn't. It is not so much as if their shows are rehearsed but rather they are naturals in front of the camera.

Another complaint pertains to the girl's stripper appeal; that there are too many girl next door types being used, which can hinder a show from being worth the tickets because of the aforementioned problems. Girls like Stacy Silver, Felina, Tarra W., and Vicky S all have one specific physical quality in common: they are superior. Similar to athletes on steriods, they are enhanced barbie dolls who get more appreciation because of their increased, specialized commodity, which is their bodies. It is all done for more attention and a chance at making more money.

Of course, what contradicts this desired image, however, are girls like Trisha, Ariel, Eufrat, and Chems who are real women who give excellent shows and work with what they have. They may not have the big boobs, but it is certain they leave no one with complaints after watching their shows. Yet, a girl like Lola is all cute and dandy, but she is not truly a turn-on unless you have a ***** fetish, and Lea Tyron is not acceptable either because she lacks excitement in her shows and seems to be wrong for the job somehow, which makes the critique of the latest releases seem valid.

Conclusively though, it is all up to the girl to make a good show and not simply her physique. If the girl does not have confidence, decivisiveness clearly shown in her act, and the ability to work the camera while getting directions, then the girl, girl next door type or not, is doom to give a bland show.

Lea Tyron has one great(Banana Split) and one bad show. Thats not enough to get my vote. The other three girls are absolutely not my type.
Personally i'm quite happy with the latest release. I like all 3 shows very much and each for a different reason.
