I promised that I would end my part of the strike if Totem released a black girl card and they have so I stick with my word. However I still want to see a reasonable distribution of ethnic black, asian etc. girls on the site in the future or will be back on the line once more. I am willing to give Totem a reasonable time to produce but not indefinetely. Great that it was the rather expected Krystel card and I did not wait for her to go on special but although it said it was being downloaded it still has not showed in my collection so alas I am not a VIP as yet,, lol, is this one last ***** totem joke on me?:-)

I agree fully with you. More diversity would be nice, even though Czech girls are top notch. Fans of this program can be found worldwide and it would be nice to see that reflected.

I wasn't on a strike as such, but Krystal's last card is a reason for me to buy some tickets too. Looking forward to Andie's dancing as well.

Thanks to all the supporters, fellow strikers and picketers that made this protest possible. Whether this thread peters out or not is up to you but I am willing to give Totem a little time to produce some of what we have asked.

I am going to keep my word and at least attempt to go back to my happy,quiet and contented life as a wandering wanker. However, I still expect some fairness in the diversity of dancers in the near future by Totem or it will be back on the picket lines for me.

I've kinda been on a passive strike about this myself since my last subscription ended. I have over 500 cards and I'd always liked Virtuagirl but with the amount of cards I have, I don't need more of the same. While there are a few new ones that I'm moderately interested in, I don't plan on subscribing again unless I see something change - i.e. Diversity. Actually, I'm also interested in certain reappearances, but since that doesn't seem to be part of the current plan, I'm more than content to support the call for more women from all round the globe (or at least ones that look like different).

Yes @54lonyludy, I am wondering if anything will really change here with Totem in providing more variety in models appearance especially skin colour. If it doesn't soon I will be dusting off the old Strike signs and be back on the line trudging through the snow.

I think Totem is currently putting all their resources into getting the new, so called more explicit site up and going and I wonder if they are letting things slip a little here on VGHD. Personally I am not all that enthused or interested in the new site. Really this VGHD site is Totems "bread and butter" as it is working for them. I hope the new site does not end up a disappointing disaster like HustlerGirls seems to have.

Or their L.A. studio which is a shame. It would have been a mixed blessing anyways since L.A. is the home to Silicone Valley. The one good thing though is there are a lot of Latinas Blacks and Orientals in that city offering a vast plethera of variously diverse models but alas, with it's overnight demise, it looks like we'll be stuck with more of the same.

Therefore, I am now starting a Czech Republic tourism campaign here in California to get these girls out there so Totem has a more diverse variety to pick from . . . ;)

Unfortunately, I really do think we have to accept that there isn't ever going to be a decent representation of ethnic girls on Virtuagirl HD.

It's not like Totem has been totally unaware of the issue. It's been brought up every now and then for months and months now, they've had plenty of time to do something about it, and pretty much nothing has happened.

There are a lot of porn sites out there that use the same, similar looking, Eastern European girls over and over again, and it's sad to say that VG has gone the same way. It was actually better in the original VG and VG2. I firmly believe that this is Totem's business model and I don't think they'll change.

it's a shame because I've been a fan of the product since the very start, but I've almost totally lost interest now. I check back every now and again to see what's new, only to be confronted by the usual parade of clones. A once revolutionary product has decended in to stale mediocrity as far as I'm concerned.
