@LuckyRene:you will certainly find a way to do that. Just don't try animated gifs as they don't work. By the way that star and sword logo i created once using Microsoft Word 97 :-) I wanted that for a fantasy story i was working on. The character Starryk is the hero in that story the protector of light. Sadly i got stuck in the writing process because i got the beginning and the end but not enough to fill the gap between them. If you're interested i can give you what i wrote until now. In german of course.
my site update, I put a simple instruction to read the registry VGHD safe and gives us the name of the clip is playing, it may be practical to determine the name of a clip that will be broken.
ATTENTION - please take the time of read the text before use it !!!!
Tomorrow I shoot more this script to delete a show but also retain its structure that VGHD should not redownload, and I hope !!!!! and that free several space the time you get a bigger hardrive.
update the utile script with the option (8) now you can delete the current clip.
I advise you to make a complete copy of the show before the operation and work only on a show at the same time. and delete the copy only when you have finish to remove all clip you not want.
hello all, utile script udpate, you can now move one show. the structure is easy i creat one folder of the name SModels on the forlder VGHD/ and i move the current clip in i creat also the folder of the show then is easy to find.
update site, now all skin have a file of name (copyskin.bat), after unrar the file you need only clic on the this file and the skin is copy automatically
ps: this a universal script you can of course use it for your skins.
@alerte i got my script almost ready. I use the xcopy exclude command. Sadly that means i have to add an exclude.txt to the zips. This excludes all folders and files from the data folder that are not card pictures. I try now to make the script copy itself to the new save folder so that you can reapply your old cards by start the script from the save folder. Edit: It works now. You are asked if you want to save before copy. If yes it copies only the pictures in the original folder structure to a new folder named save/data then it copies itself into the save folder. After that the normal copy of the set happens. If you say no then only the normal copy takes place. Just not sure what happens if one user starts the batch file from the save folder and chooses save. I will make that impossible. But then i'm done.
@alerte:well the xcopy supports an exclude but not an include. And with copy it must be much harder to get the original folder structure copied too. With the exclude it works but only if you create a text file containing all things to be excluded. Here the contents of that textfile music .bmp .psd skins .vhd .txt .cld .lst backgrounds playlists .cld .log .vghd .cds .dat If you find another way to copy only the jpg i'm all ears.
@alerte: well my solution works now! But it needs that exclude.txt file. copy *.jpg will not go through the subfolders of the data folder. It will only copy the jpg files in the data folder that means none. The param /Y should terminate the questions about replacement of the files. But i don't think it works with the copy-command. But i will see what you come up with. Took me a long time to get that batchfile ready. But now i'm proud i made it:-) Of course it wouldn't have been possible without your batchfiles as reference.
