thx for that helps me understand a little better but theres still a few things i dont understand like how does the currency conversion work like do i select GBP then convert to polygon which is matic i believe that correct? and like whats the minimum amount of money needed in order to convert does it have to be a high Amount thankyou

My experience is that there is usually a minimum you can convert - it was £30 when I have done it using Transact. My tactic is to convert £30 to Matics and then convert around £25 worth of them into Dolz, leaving enough Matics to cover fees.

Polygon is the network to use for the lowest admin ("gas") fees

And answering your previous post, I am also in the UK and I use Metamask all the time. But I have had issues trying to access it via Microsoft Edge - it seems to block it. Try using another browser.

This was where I used Transact to transfer the funds. Whenever you want to convert real money into crypto, you have to choose a "middleman" and that company/app will usually take you through the KYC (Know Your Customer) process where you have to submit a photo of yourself plus a photo or scan of a passport or driving licence to prove who you are.

Totem recommended Moonpay but I kept having issues with them - it was as if the KYC had failed so whenever they tried to get funds from my credit card or my bank, my card company and bank kept rejecting the transaction.

Using Transact felt more secure for me because when you want to transfer the funds, they ask you to set up a bank transfer and give you the details of their account. That means that you will always have control of the transfer because YOU drive it from your bank account - they do not go and try to get it themselves

When you go into Metamask, select "Buy" and then select "Faster Payments". You can then change the currency to £ and then hit "Get Quotes". Transact usually comes up at the top of the list.

ah ok thats sound good but unfortunately i dont have a passport or drivers license to use transact :( so ill have to use moonpay and hopefully it works for me but i get the rejection process from the bank though happens to me abit on other stuff :(

Unfortunately even Moonpay will need to take you through KYC. Do you not have a UK picture driving licence? Or any other recognised photo ID?

***** hell I thought I was the only person in the UK that doesn't have a Photo Driver's license or a valid passport.

I couldn't pass the ID checks required either. I even use a link to generate a "selfie" on my phone camera but that didn't work either.

This was a while ago.

Have now seen how the Trading Card thing actually works I'm rather relieved. It really isn't my thing at all.😰

Damn unfortunately i dont have anything like that i used to have a passport but i lost it when i moved house like 3 yrs ago :( so i guess i cant participate for these dolz cards thats a dissapointment as im quite the fan of some of the models used there :( like Vanessa Alessia :(

It is worth seeing how far you can get - but you may just have to accept that you may come a cropper.

Maybe you need to renew your passport - you are still young (unlike @Number6 and myself) so I'm sure you are going to want to travel abroad sometime in the future 😊

And we have shot enough NFT cards already to be offering one a week for a year and a half - at least 😊

"come a cropper" - slang To fall down, to fail spectacularly. Primarily heard in UK. I think it derives from falling forwards off a horse over it's neck - but I'm not sure about that 😊

Though you will miss out on the initial auction of the Vanessa Alessia card (it ends on Sunday), you will be able to buy it on the secondary market and I can't help but think that we will see a few such cards hitting the market after the Season 1 has finished and people have retrieved their rewards for owning the full season. So get searching and find that passport 😊

oh i see lol yea i understand what u mean by the cropper thing now and ok but on the market is the currency process not the same ? and i will try my best to find the passport if not ill have to get a new 1 which is very expensive nowadays also quick off topic question whos the model used for the xoxo fan sign achievement ? thx again for the help appreciate it very much
