NFT stands for what now?

It stands for "nonfungible token."

Nonfungible, meaning you can't exchange it for another thing of equal value. A $10 bill can be exchanged for two $5 bills. One bar of gold can be swapped for another bar of gold of the same size. Those things are fungible. An NFT, though, is one of a kind.

The token refers to a unit of currency on the blockchain. It's how cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is bought and sold.

"Remember those days where people would line up for the newest Nike Air Jordan sneakers at the physical store? This is the new digital equivalent," said Katie Haun, a general partner at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.

classic cash grab it is just another pump and dump ICO.... but highly doubtful it will be successful for totem as 1) target audience is most likely older demographic largely unfamilar with crypto 2) trust is ATL since FTX collapse 3) bear market continues and still very much risk off 4) NFT hype has long since died. The fact they have to give away money in the form of credits is already a red flag. Plus this is marketed as a collectible so most will just hold onto a tokenized Jpeg. I haven't looked but is there even a whitepaper? I assume the utility of the token is to faciliate transactions when these NFTs are supposedly traded but what is the tokenomics? What is the expected supply of Dolz to be able to discern important metrics like MC, TDS, and TVL? If all of this makes no sense and sounds like a foreign language you should not be vesting in what is a speculative asset being marketed as a niche cosumerable.

With collapse of FTX, putting money into Crypto is not a smart thing to do- you are likely to loose your money and your identity. Not sure why Totem is involved with these scams, but be smart and don't be tempted. You will be happy you stayed away!

Ethereum is a akin to a stock that MIGHT also be used as currency...my ignorant impression is totem CEO invested early into the ethereum market, it grew by 400% from 2020 to 2021 and now they are giving the option for totem customer to also "invest", every investment raises the price of ethereum which in theory makes totem money once they "sell". The recent crash has actually made it cheaper to invest into ethereum, dolz, and likely get these special cards and the gamble is whether the energy crunch and government regulations will tamper down the price forever. In that case Totem will probably still make money if they invested early in 2020 but the average customer will lose...but it is important to understand that buying normal cards is a lost in currency for the gain of a 35 minute card...if the dolz price for a dolz card is similar to $ price for an istripper card then it makes no difference.

I still expect my free card for all the account linking I had to figure out. At no point in any of the promotional material that i was presented with was it made clear that China and US regions were excluded from the events. 😠

If you won't fix the issue then make the card purchasable with credits as well.

Maybe someone who knows well about surveys should do a survey For Istripper customers, especially for those who are here long and have all or most of the cards Will he ever buy your Dolz cryptocurrencies and does he want these cards at the expense of entering the NFT and Dolz market? EDIT 1: if I were to spend $400 AUD on IStripper i would get 4000 IS credits, why would i want 1/4 of that XD.
EDIT 2: for 4000 credits i can get 289 cards starting from the newest cards working my way down.

@dekker - I agree - purchasing porn will always come under the category of "disposable income" - unless you have a medical condition, you choose to buy it when you have spare cash that is not required for the more mundane but necessary purchases (food, heat etc - Maslow's hierarchy defines this well).

I would love to get some of the NFTs - especially Belka and Clemence - but - I don't have the spare cash that is unencumbered so - for now - I am just going to have to suck it up and live with it.
