This looks like the beginning of the end of iStripper. What a shame.
I sincerely hope that no one buys into this NFT stuff, so that maybe Totem see the errors of their ways and stop trying to scam their customers. But all of the recent gambling to get SEC cards is not a good sign.

This is not the end of iStripper. But let's not exaggerate.

As for people who are not going to get involved in this NFT thing. Just seeing how many still spend credits in their games and SEC, it would be surprising if nobody laughs in NFT and Dolz. Totem knows full well that there are those who will follow them in their various projects, and thereby contribute to their enrichment. It seems that some people have too much money, so Totem offers to collect it by these means. Good for them, if everyone finds their account.

The important thing for us is that the program continues and that the quality of the production of the cards continues.

Pour ce qui est de gens qui ne vont pas embarquer dans cette histoire de NFT. Juste à voir comment encore beaucoup dépenses des crédits inutilrement dans leurs jeux et les SEC, il serait surprenant que personne ne se rique dans les NFT et les Dolz. Totem sait très bien qu'il y en a qui vont les suivre dans leurs divers projets, et contribuer par le fait même à leur enrichissement. Il semble que certains ont trop d'argent, alors Totem se propose par ces moyens à la recueillir. Tant mieux pour eux, si chacun y trouve leur compte.

L'important pour nous est la continuation du programme et que la qualité se poursuive, concernant la production des cartes.

That Totem introduces another new ADDITIONAL product is NOT a reason to set your hair on fire and run around waving your arms! Get it or not, you are interested or not. (I'm a not). I don't do the games either but they don't offend me, and if other people like them- and some certainly seem to do so- that's great. It certainly hasn't affected iStripper at all so far- they seem busier- and better- than ever! Anything that makes them money makes me happy. I just spent a lot of time pruning my iStripper collection and I STILL have 1.2TB of very high quality content, all completely to my taste. And it's growing since the latest releases include still more stuff I like.

On the other hand, I was previously entirely unaware of iDancer (thanks for mentioning it Wyldanimal) so all the drama was good for SOMETHING. I ran out and got it and I think that's the best $8.00 I have ever spent. If they ever add some more dancers I am SO there waving my credit card. It is really cool. And there is some FINE dancing there. By French girls. 😍

@Bitwrangler yes iDancer is good fun, but never caught on and has never been updated since launch I think.
Search the forum and there's a load of posts about it. May be if Totem make good money from the NFTs they can throw some more to develop iDancer. A few more dancers, more Clara, and update the software.
And call me bonkers, I even suggested Clara as model for iStripper proper. Yes I am bonkers. 😆

Pro tip: if you want to quit, you can just go without announcing it to everyone. Because nobody gives a ***** if you stay or go.

first the special cars wich I gave up on them long time ago , I see the markting points but trust me it's getting too expensive for just a video.

I bought iDancer but it never developed futher than couple of models, wasn't a bad idae but didn't work out beacuse of lack of nudity and all that.

I can see that many of you have had a negative reaction to our announcement.
It’s a shame, although I understand your concerns when it comes to the world of cryptocurrency, and especially NFTs, as both of these new worlds are still unknown to you and the source of many preconceived ideas.

I am not here to try and convince you to buy our future collection of shows and even less so trying to sell you DOLZ, I'll leave it to time, but in order to put a halt to the misunderstandings and re-establish :

NFTs are not a scam.

Do not get blind sided by amateurs that don’t know much on the subject in question, or by the big headlines of articles you’ll find on pseudo information websites, which are just there as clickbait rather than to give you reliable information.

A NFT is simply evidence registered on the blockchain, that you are the sole proprietor of a unique numerical content. This does not mean that said content can not be copied. But, contrary to any other numerical content, NFTs prove that you possess an original copy.
It’s like the difference between a painting exposed in a museum, and the copy of that same painting that you have exposed in your living room.

Does this prevent scams?

Obviously not! And I can only advise you to check where you’re sending your money at least 10 times before actually sending it.
Society has proven that, for each new and emerging technology, as exceptional and revolutionary as it is, scammers will try to get a hold of your money through elaborate frauds.

But don’t forget that these frauds are put in place by humans, not by technology.

All of those present during the beginnings of the internet, will surely remember that we heard the same tune.
Nevertheless, is the internet a scam? I think you will agree with me in saying that it’s not.
Do scams exist on the internet ? Yes, unfortunately.

NFTs are not a scam, they represent a technological revolution that will probably change the way we consume products and dematerialized services.
Totem has always been a pioneer in the production and distribution of content and will be there to make this shift. But we do so slowly, with goodwill, making sure that we do not lose any of you along the way.

Mais contrairement à n’importe quel autre contenu numérique, le NFT prouve que vous possédez un exemplaire original. C’est la différence entre un tableau exposé au musée et la copie de ce tableau accrochée dans votre salon.

Est-ce que cela empêche les arnaques ?

Bien sûr que non ! Et je ne saurais que trop vous conseiller de vérifier 10 fois où vous envoyez votre argent avant de le faire. Ce monde est ainsi fait, qu’à chaque technologie émergente, aussi révolutionnaire et exceptionnelle soit-elle, des escrocs essayent de vous prendre votre argent en montant des arnaques.

Mais n’oubliez que ces escroqueries sont élaborées par les humains, pas par la technologie.

Ceux qui étaient là au début d’internet se souviennent sûrement qu’on entendait le même rengaine. Est-ce que, pour autant, internet est une arnaque ? Je pense que vous conviendrez avec moi que non.
Est-ce qu’il existe des arnaques sur Internet ? Oui, malheureusement.

Les NFTs ne sont pas une arnaque mais une révolution technologique qui va probablement changer la façon dont les produits et services dématérialisés seront consommés.
Totem, qui a toujours été un pionnier dans la production et la distribution de contenu sera là pour prendre ce virage. Mais nous le ferons en douceur, avec bienveillance, toujours dans le souci de ne perdre aucun de vous en chemin.

Each NFT will be available in several hundred, even a thousand copies!
There will be a limited amount of it in order to create an interesting second market for everyone, but there will be no reason that you cannot buy it.

I keep seeing the same argument going around here and on Discord: "I would never buy something like this! And I'm pissed off because I won't be able to buy it!" 😠 😆

Its a scam but its all good becouse you can afford it. Look around lots of ***** then go look in the mirror as you laugh about it with your 418 cards.

1/ We will always produce 7 NON-NFT shows per week, just like now.
2/ Plus, this project, if it is a success, will make it possible to increase production budgets, to sign big names in the industry, maybe even to setup a new studio in Japan to produce content that you wouldn't be able to enjoy without it!

That's the opposite of the end :)

NFTs are a new layer of content, dedicated to those who are interested in such technology and those who find this actually pretty cool to own a card for eternity... or until they sell it :)

I think people are suggesting that the additional NFT offering will ***** so many iStripper users that everyone will abandon the product, thereby ***** it. Because, you know, the vocal detractors are mad as hell and they're not gonna take it anymore--and they assume that their anger is representative of the vast majority. As evidence, they will point to the other less-than-ten users who have loudly proclaimed that they are "done with iStripper."

It may not have occurred to them that most people who oppose NFT simply and quietly will not participate. It may not have occurred to them that this is even an option. 😆

The way I deal with this is to think of the NFT content as if it is on another web site that I have not subscribed to.
There is plenty of content I might like on others sites, but cannot afford to sub to all those.
Even my favourite model Gloria, I do not have all her content and never will.
We cannot have everything. I hope this project succeeds for Totem. I most likely will carry on with the regular cards for now and see how things go.

NFTs requires exclusivity, if there is only one then it's far more valuable. So where does that leave us with I.Stripper & VR Paradise, potentially in a bidding war for the best shows and content. The community may accept NFT’s if they are cosmetic only & don't impact shows and content. Collection of images and VR Paradise outfits fits this purpose but to have to bid for a particular Gloria show won’t work. She’s to glorious to restrict to only whales.

Anyway bold move to get involved this early, I sincerely hope it works out as you provide outstanding models I really enjoy.

I appreciate the clarifications and myself am lukewarm on the idea. On the other hand I do think about everyone's tastes paying for my own so I naturally hope it is a success to increase production budgets and perhaps a new studio.

But we are still talking from Companys and their Customers, except i'm misleading
something which can always happen.

But if you are talking from the Company Totem to ***** their Customers to use Discord,
unfortunately io can't see this at all.

I'm spending almost 8 hours on Discord from Monday till Friday, and i can see the
Success from the use itself, and the benefits to use Discord
on the iStripper Discord Server every day.

And this is not only an subjective perception from me. And if you are following the

So yes Discord is a Success for Totem, but it was also made a Success through all the Members

I think there is no reason to be angry about anything. Totem is discovering new Waters and making
Steps forwards instead of backwards.

Everyone will still have access to the regular Content on iStripper through the Software Client,
like it was the case before and like stated already here on this Topic,
and on Discord last year in December.

And everyone which is interested to Discover the Dolce Universe, will receive a warm Welcome
from the Team for sure, i have no doubts for that.
And yes of course you have to use Discord for that, but you don't need to if you don't like to.

Because in the very end it is each to it's own to receive this Welcome, no one needs to follow everything,
and also no one needs to be angry about anything, there is no reason for that.
