Ima prob buy it and just think of it as a 60 dollar joker with the option of ocassional discounts which might be the best way to think of it. Yes that is one VERY expensive card but honestly getting special event cards is a gamble all the time anyway and I believe you can hold onto jokers forever? Correct me if Im wrong? So hold onto it if you dont want anything now and if some rng event card comes out think of it as a 60 dollar free pass for that? Seems best for people like me who doubt they can 100% value the deal but want it anyway.
I mean this deal has a lot of ways to try and come at it. Value game, buy 200+ new cards, recoup full value of the purchase. Great for people who always buy cards. An expensive joker card for now/the future where you can skip the RNG, skip buying a full month, skip playing a dice board, etc for 60 bucks but also get discounts here and there for your purchase. Won't be 100% like the previous idea but still a decent value depending on how you value event cards(I spent sooo much to get the one event card I wanted a few months ago when they had like 6 event cards in a RNG pool, I would have loved this then).
And maybe someone else comes at this deal another way? I don't know. But like others have said, Totem is a company, they're trying to get money and if you look at this from an objective view point its not terrible. Hard to recoup 100% value from it but given RNG events and other stuff I doubt 1 person here has gotten 100% value for their purchased credits, and if I'm wrong I'm sorry.
Edit: Tho I will state, they should have included -some- credits. Seriously, I'd take anything. Maybe 20 credits a month for a year which can equate 1 card a month free. Like seriously something, since it's a yearly thing, just feels like you'd expect -something- to drip to you for it. And I don't think giving 20 credits a month would ***** them. But this could be my 'gacha game' player side speaking where I buy monthlies for them and get some sorta drip of <currency/item/etc> for being so nice as to support them monthly/yearly.
