You Do realize that with an Almost Full Collection, the Number of Possible Cards to Win is Limited..
Recently released cards are probably not part of the offer...
So How Many older cards do you not Already have?

Some events, especially Events that rely on Availability of Not already Owned cards, CAN'T reward everyone...
@Wyldanimal you do realise that scratch cards are not the same as other games or gambling at slot machines?
When you buy a scratch card the outcome should not depend in anyway from your collection.
If the outcome/results depends on the collection then it should not be named scratch game/card and in that case the full or almost full collection owners should have being excluded from playing the game.

100 credits down the drain with nothing to show for it. Think I'll skip this one in the future.
I have a feeling this game won't be back. lol

It sounds like you want a scratch game that would give you, as rewards, cards that are already in your collection... is that it? Because I'm guessing some people would not be happy AT ALL 😇

Of course And it could be done in many ways:
e.g. if you have a complete collection
1 card win = ticket for a future card
or
1 card win = redraw

When you buy scratch cards for real if you already have 50 bucks in your wallet they refuse to give you the 50 bucks that you won? Or do they ask you how much money you have in your wallet and modify the outcome according to that? ???

Well that sounds like a very good idea! And it's obviously not what's happening here, which I'm willing to bet you knew 😛

I did not know until I played. When I realised that the results depend from my collection I stopped playing
A total rip-off and a waste of time. It will only give you cards that were released more than 30 days and occasionally 10 and sometimes 50 credits to get you hooked. How come I was offered >10 special cards and non of them had the 3 symbols? (I own all the special events by the way). Plus if you notice when the price is high (50 and 100) it will glitch if you already unvealed 2 symbols and try to scratch the 3 remaining ones....
and after 10 hours when returned from the work I found out that they even removed my 9 wins
I played the game lost 210 credits and got the 9 Alize cards (already had them in the past).
Now I log in again and see that I got refunded 90 credits and the cards are removed.
So I lost 110 credits without getting a single card!

Someone from the support lease either refund me the 110 credits (as if I never played) or toggle 90 credits and give me 9 random cards from the 19 missing from my collection.

I can accept gambling and paying more for a card (21 credits instead of 13.75 for each card). But cannot accept being ripped of like this because of a bug.

And for a Full Collection Member that IS EXACTLY what Happens.
Since the Cards Available to Win are limited, you Win Credits instead of cards..
You could Win 10 credits, 50 credits, 100 credits...

So if you only have 1 available card, and you play 20 times, and then say, I played 20 times but only got 1 card, but I also got 3x10 credits and 2x50 credits and 1x100 credits
I spent 200 credits and all I got was this 1 card...
1 Card cost me 200 credits.

I think you actually got 10 or more cards.. Depends on what your card cost is...
1 actual Card, plus 230 credits
you won credits that you could use on Future Cards.

I guess it depends on how you look at it...

If you don't have available cards to Win, then you are playing to win the credits..

So I've bought 3 scratch cards.
I won:
  • 1 Card (But i've no idea what, because it was never credited to my account, even after a synchronise with servers)
  • 10 Credits (these were credited straight to my account, so yay!)
  • 1 Event Special Card (but again, no idea what because it was never added to my account)?

Can someone from support deal with whatever is going on?

Not paying any more until I can see those two cards.

Some events, especially Events that rely on Availability of Not already Owned cards, CAN'T reward everyone...

@Wyldanimal as a long time customer and full collector I am well aware that some offers (bonus packs, slot machine, progressive packs, ...) don't always apply to me. When I don't have enough cards available in store they tell me that I can't play.

As I said I did expect to lose money in this new game compared to the regular price. Just not that much.

On the few occasions that I have played slot machine with a short store I usually ended up paying between the triple diamond and the full price. Based on that and the fact that Special Event cards were included I expected a premium of maybe twice or 3 times the regular price.

The only way to know if that game was well designed for me was to give it a try.

To make things clear I'm not mad at Totem. Playing this game was my own decision and I won't blame them. I just want to give honest feedback data on a new game.

Since I really wanted the special card I played another 100 scratch cards and finally got it in the last 20. And other prices were consistent with what I got for the first series.

The end result is I paid a total of 620 credits for 1 regular card and 1 special (so if you look at the 2 series separately the Special card was slightly less than the regular card).

I've seen comments by others who received shows on almost all their scratch cards. That's a nice thing.
Maybe this game is more suited for beginners.
Maybe Totem will use my feedback and others to tweak the game for the next time.

Was it worth the try? I got the card I wanted so you could say "Yes". Did I enjoy it? Not as much as I expected.

As a final note here's my total count:
200 scratch cards
93x loser
98x 10 credits
6x 50 credits
1x 100 credits
1x regular card (Cristina Miller - Colombiana)
1x Special Card (Niemira - 'Tis The Season [Christmas 2017])

Congrats to all winners.
Wishing better luck next time to all losers.

No, this is not what is happening.
When the winning/lossing rates, change depending on the low resolution cards you have in the store is cheating.

edit: and 10 credits is not the same as 1 card. Also please point me where exactly Totem said that the last 30 days card are excluded from the game. I really doubt that anyone won one of the latest cards...

You need to play a lot of times to compute the winning rate. When someone says he played 8 times and got 8 wins. It's not enough to tell he had a 100% winning rate. Maybe the next 20 attempts would be losses if he had kept playing.

That's why I gave my full account based of a large sample of plays.

I wouldn't be surprised if the base winning rate was 50% for everyone.

Regarding the rates of each prize we would need more data from other people to see if and how it depends on the collection size.

61 cards, 610 credits used (actually 210 + 400 from those won)
9 cards won (low resolution removed afterwords)
15 x10 credits won
5 x50 credits won

If Totem did not remove the cards I would not have a problem. If they replaced them with other cards I would not have a problem. Removing them and refunding me only 90 credits, I do have a problem because I can buy only 6 cards instead of 9.

I've spent over 1k credits trying to get a special event and I've gotten barely any wins, occasional 50 credits, 100 credits maybe once or twice anytime the special event card pops up I get only one or two $ but never three, I've gotten a bunch of garbage medium res cards, not a single new card from any of the "wins" this is tottally rigged.

Hi there. If you read my angry posts from a few pages back, you will see I'm in the boat as you. This whole promo is completely rigged by design or flat out doesn't work! Never got "Special Card" with 3S at the same time -- always came up 2S more than 12 times! Instead, I got a bunch of medium res cards which are worth less than 10 credits and which I don't need! I lost 900 credits in this process (using all the credit wins too in other scratch cards). Totem has to answer for this unfair business practice or they are losing me as a customer for real.

Got this after some attempts
Date Action Category Amount
27 minutes ago Alyssia Kent / Splurging Added to collection

So, not rigged to not give away special event cards.

And if you have almost all newer cards it is not many cards left to draw your new cards from so that you got some older cards is no suprise.

I expected that it would be difficult to win a special event card and it was. Just as it was more difficult to win 100 credits than it was to win 10. The only difference with other forms of gambling is that the odds were not stated. I'm sure there is a random number generator behind the cards and clearly the probability of winning a special event card is greater than zero.

After a lot of credits:

In the beginning there was a chance to get some elder cards from Alizee (9), after "winning" no ather cards won.

So there is a real bug in the programming or there is a great cheat!

P.S. the won cards of Alizee are not downloaded on this computer.

Sorry to tell so.

Uh, you guys are gambling. Just imagine if the first scratch card gave you the special event card. You would have received a special card for 10 credits, while others HAD to spend 500+ credits for the advent calendars or a couple hundred credits or even $ for the black friday sale. So you would have gotten away with a great deal. But the shitty side of gambling is you could also waste 1000 credits...and you guys did....no business will set up a loot box or gambling encounter w/o guarenteeing that they make a profit, and probably a massive one. I do not gamble because it the companies way of saying, "we want you to give us more money for less of a service." Kind of the ***** side of a person waiting for sales, or the refill discount. I get 45% off because of diamonds, 20% of credits because I only reload during discounts, and most of my new cards are on sale 20-25% if I get the buy 3 get 1 free. Part of me is sad that totem takes advantage of customers but that means they can offer other deals and not take such a financial hit.

How About losing over 600 credits without winning a SINGLE card and a win/loss ratio in totem's favor of about 75/25,if i'm lucky! Not even the low resolution cards! I won't be buying credits for a LONG time if this isn't addressed!

I lost 900 credits
losing over 600 credits

You didnt LOSE anything.. you freely gave the credits in the greedy hope of getting more.
Gambling is exactly that, people who gamble recklessly can least afford to and ***** loudest when they dont win. Greed spurs them on.
Totem provided a fun opportunity to gamble, they are not responsible for the results. You are.

There's three so far - Alyssia, Olivia and Niemira.

Seeing as how I'm not interested in the 2 I don't have and seeing how bad the odds in this are, I'm staying away - I was lucky enough to win 50 credits so I covered for my losses in the small gesture of participation I've made. Never again - skipping this like the mystery boxes.

Apart from the smart-ass, sanctimonious lesson-givers, all in all, that is a lot of dissatisfied clients, all because of those special event cards... From a financial point of view, it was certainly profitable, since many here seem to have spent a lot on this event just to get thos cards. But is it really worth it if it makes so many customers angry at you? This is spiraling down.

Have you read the gumbling rules of the game?
Scratch Cards Game

This week, I'm quite proud to introduce you to our new game : a scratch cards game.

Rules:

Discover 3 iStripper symbols and you win !
You need to completely scratch the ticket to move on to the next one.
The cards you win are automatically added to your collection.
A ticket costs 10 credits.

Here are the possible gains :
10 credits
50 credits
100 credits
1 Free card (randomly picked up from the cards you don't own yet)
One of the special event cards!
where did they stated that the new cards are exluded? If I new it before hand I (and probably others with almost full collections) wouldn't have played/gambled.
Since they removed our 9 wins they should replace them with 9 other randomly picked cards and not refund us with 90 credits...
