I know everyone is different, but I really ***** these promotions which exploit the gambling instinct and encourage buying cards 'blind'. Then, furthermore, the temptation of exclusivity in ownership of some random card.

I know what I like, and buy accordingly. I do not like tricky inducements.

Agree. I never have, and never will, purchase anything like a "Grab Bag" with unknown items in it. It reeks of treating the consumer/customer like an idiot. Either the product will meet the test of being quality enough to make the customer want to buy it after seeing it...or it isn't quality enough to sell itself.

It reminds me of this, whether it is a true reflection of the seller or not:

Then don't buy. Simple as that. No need to yell about what you don't like.

100%. Really annoyed with these buying blind promotions. It's infuriating that they lock an exclusive card behind buying a certain number of cards that you have no idea whether you'd like or not.

You guys really don't have to buy blind, as some have been saying. If this calendar works the same way as last years, which we have no reason to think it doesn't, you will have up until the very last day to purchase the entire calendar.

Also, let's not get personal and start insulting anyone that disagrees with your point of view.

@91hebasu is quite right to remind us that we can wait until the very last moment to decide to buy the calendar and still get the full benefit, It says so in quite simple text in the announcement comprising the first post in this thread. Last year there was quite a lot of ***** over this. If you think that you may regret buying some cards that you might not want then wait until the 24th before deciding.

Still, if you Want the Exclusive card, you Must Buy EVERY December card from the 2nd to the 25th.

The Price you Pay for the Advent Calendar will be Based on How many December cards you Don't already Own.

The advantage of waiting,
is you can then decide if there are too many unwanted cards that you will pass on the Exclusive card.

For the Card Collectors who buy every card, it's a no Brainer.
Buy the Calendar, and you get to see the Cards a Day Early..

I'm not a "Card Collector" who buys every card. Never have been...never will be.

So I hope that "Exclusive Card" isn't one I would have really liked to spend my money on, 'cos I'm not going to be "*****" to spend 360 credits just to get it. And that's the reality of it...that ONE card will cost a customer 360 credits if they really want it.

Hell of a way to treat a customer who has been here for 10 years since the beginning in 2008. With "only" 1164 cards (and well over $1164 spent on the company's products already).

There's a reason I was able to go fully retired when I was only 56-years old. I didn't spend money on things I DIDN'T want...or things companies tried to "*****" me to buy from them to get what I DID want from them.

Just an observation. Consider it customer feedback instead of criticism.

Same, I only buy cards that I like. Some girls I'm just not attracted to, or their clothing or style of dancing/movement just isn't sexy to me.

Is there's a thumbs up button or something? I would like to give one to this comment

it's all the dopamine in your brain that made you push the purchase button, bro. Trust me, exclusive cards aren't worth as much as they hyped it, so don't purchase if your financial situation is not that good

If you Wait till the 24th.
You can Better Asses what the Value of the exclusive card is...

If you Look back, and decide there are 5 cards you Do not want, then the value of the Exclusive card is Only 5 cards, Not 24.
Maybe during the Month you already purchased the cards you do want..

Then on the 24th, you have to decide.

there are 10 cards I didn't purchase. Is the Exclusive card worth buying those 10 cards?

you have up till the 24th, to make a better informed decision.
