Woot! The Reload Bonus just came up again so now I have 7 stars!

I should have the full 10 stars, though, since I would have done the Preorder yesterday if it hadn't been broken. I strongly suspect that the Totem team will honor that promo and the associated 3 stars for me but I don't want to miss out on the extra card. I have now already spent $100 on reload credits today, bringing my total amount of credits in my account to 1,886.10 so I really don't want to buy more credits this weekend as my total credits will now last me over 4 months. I also don't really want to keep dicking around on my computer checking for additional promos all day and night and tomorrow if I can avoid it. Can anybody provide any insight as to how likely it is that Totem will honor my attempt to purchase the Preorder Bonus yesterday?

Apparently they do cause the only way I'll get the 10 stars if I don't get the prepay one is to buy the reload 3 more times (which is only worth while if I buy the 500 credit package) which means with my exiting credits I won't have to buy any credits for most of next year.

@dotechinn7117 - sometimes it is worthwhile to quit iStripper completely and restart it. Closing the GUI window does not quit the program, you have to use Quit in the pop up menu of the iStripper systray entry. Very occasionally I have needed to ***** it via the task manager, but I have not needed to do that for quite some time.

The program seems to do a slightly more thourough server synch when it starts up than when you click on Synchronise With Servers and in any case you problem may be something different that would be reset by such a restart.

Anyone know what wrong with my screen? I synchronize with the server to no avail.

try different browser like Mozilla or Chrome set as default

The last one I saw was at 5 AM Friday here. Not sure if one came up while I was at work yesterday or while I was *****.

Another bug with "Free packs" this time.

When I click it, it shows "Thanks Enjoy your shows!"

What shows? I haven't bought this one and on the girls store there are 17 cards left to buy.

I actually get exactly same message every time sale shows up with poorly written algo that allows only cards old enough to be bought, period. To add inslut to ***** - same algo assumes that if after ignoring cards that are to new there is nothing left - you must have bought *something* - so it will congratulate you on non-existent purchaes. Yuppi!

Someone in Totem decided, that fixing that corner case is not worht their effort as they already got plenty of money from us, so why bother?

Got another reload and now I stand at Nine (9) Stars.... Only one left... I really want this Exclusive card!

i wonder if they removed the broken sales from the table so that the reload bonus already shows up again. still its the best of the sales so i won't *****. just got me another 3 stars. only one star left now.

it's amazing how many ppl on here dont see that it says " each SALE (sale event, not purchase)" to earn stars...

@DuziKolo - I find it particularly galling that Totem honour us by listing us on the monthly Hall Of Fame and then make it particularly hard for us to qualify for this weekend's stars.

Further to my last post - it is also galling that for those of us with full collections the only way to get 10 stars involves at least three cash purchases no matter how many credits we were in balance on Friday morning. Personally it is no problem, but I am sure for some 150 euro will not be so easily justified, especialy this close to Christmas.

You don't have to buy the biggest package to get the stars, you can spend 5 euros on the smallest package and get the 3 stars, no need to stress about it

@TheEmu I hear you, but if you already know that you will spend hundreds/thousands of credits next year on new purchases, this reload bonus is really heaven sent :)

I just stocked my credits up to 5,000+ credits utilizing this promo. For me, this should last close to 2 years based on the proportion of new cards I have decided to purchase lately.

I really recommend people to take on this offer... If you already KNOW that you will buy lots of cards in the coming months (or even years), why wouldn't you take on this offer fully?

@Rt98 - I realised my mistake shortly after my post but was unable to correct it because your post automatically blocked me editing it. Its still a bit galling and the overall cost will still be 15 or 20 euro depending on whether you can get the 4 star collectors cards and the pre-purchase offer or not.

@Dfner - I agree, if you have the cash immediately available the reload bonus is the best way to go and I always use it, but some may not be in that position and have to settle for what will be more expensive in the long run.

Fair enough, I'd be surprised if they brought back the preorder offer only because if totem assumed that all the promotions were going to work smoothly then anyone who bought the preorder the first time would not be able to do anything the second time. However, only time will tell.

@RT98 - but many will have missed the pre-order offer - especially as it was failing with the 404 error last time it was supposed to be there so nobody could use it.

Should I be trying to get the 10 stars or should I be trying to get as many cards as possible, and if so what is the best method of geting many cards for this event?

If you REALLY want to go about it cost effectively vs your desired cards right away AND expect to stick around for a long time, I suggest buying the cheapest cards first (low quality) then go up from there. As you get promoted towards triple daimond you gain discount perks, thus saving even more towards the more expensive cards. Additionally, only buy cards that are at 20% off as they come in the previews (if you really want the show).
For now, I would definitly utilize the reload bonus during this event and get the 600 credits. (Don't stock up all at once since you only get 3*s per event, I want to say they'll have the reload come up at least 2 more times before this ends assuming it rotates every 10 hours or so).
This is if you're a super saver and kind of extreme about it though lol. From my perspective; 1.20USD per show is perfectly fine with me.

I don't want to be all needy, but just a suggestion that maybe the credits deal should be up the whole time so when you re-load you get the 50 free credits. I re-loaded for the costume sale and deeply regret it. I could have had +50 credits had I waited to re-load four more hours. :(

I feel your ***** buddy lol, best thing you can do is think of this as a game, take your loses for now but make up for it during the next couple of sales. Like the buy 3 get 1 free, you can buy from the preview at 20% off at least one show then the other two at regular price, it's the same as if you got 30% off all four cards. OR if you get lucky, and get 20% 3 times within the two hours...THEN get the most expensive shows (for me it was 9 credits more vs regular crystal clear); you could save alot that way! I saved alot that way! And got all the cards I wanted!

The above is the reason that I prefer to always have 50-60 cards in the store. This time I had 36 cards in the store and I doubt I would have managed to complete the hunt with reloading twice (actually 3 times).

I hope that Totem will extend the sale for 1-2 days so that everyone that wants it can get the card.
And the next time that they decide to do a similar event, they should give the complete collectors a bonus start of 5-6 stars.

If anyone has the patience...could you please list the bonus events that have come out so far? Really what i'm looking for is there a bikini discount or brunette discount...things like that, not slot machines or package deals. thanks

The only thing they had to do is, that at least one of them is checking at the weekend if everything works. And not go in the weekend let everything be (and not working) and come back monday and see "oh no, everything went wrong, how could this happen".

The 404 error is avoidable, but not when no one is there to fix it.
