Call me stupid, but I can't find the settings icon its not in the upper right corner of the task bar

it is the gear shaped icon. I cannot post a screenshot here.

icons are at the top bar of the application. left to right they are ..
downloads , master sound , music , full screen , SETTINGS , help , edit profile

@Manue all is good, there are no error messages.
I am accessing the forum via the App and there is no button / icon to add images. *****-n-drop also does nothing. However it does work on other streams like Platinum, Nudes, Studio...
I thought images might not be allowed on New Users.
I would send a screenshot but..... 😊😊

Same here. The icon for uploading pics is not here.

Just checked everything in both the gui and on the website. It appears to be only New Users Corner that's affected :/

ok, i can only tell for the software not for the website.

i know that Wyldanimal always use the forum on the website, not sure for No.6.

so it may a problem in the software.

Nope, it's both, Spavey. I checked all of the forum categories in both the gui and website.

No idea how long the issue has been going on as it's rare for people to upload pics in the New Users Corner. Most are simple newbie questions, easily answered with just text :/

I too usually only use the website for the forum.

The upload pics icon is missing in both gui and website forums, ONLY for New Users Corner.

No major problem as @The Emu has pointed out. If a Pic is really the only way to explain an issue, it can be posted in Bugs & Fixes for example with a link back and forth to both forum pages.

Still a bit of a ***** tho :/

No a mod said this somwhere. I just don't know where. I think manue doesn't realise it.

@Hombre - I don't think that Bugs and Fixes is a good place to work round the problem. I was posting there to report that there was a problem and I uploaded the picture to prove that the failure was not due to the image itself. Once it was uploaded in Bugs and Fixes I posted a link to it in a New Users thread rather than duplicating it in a third thread but now that the problem has been reported using a new thread would be a better choice.

Members are not Allowed to Post Images in the New Users Forum.
Only Team members and Moderators have that Ability.

New Users ( with No Purchased cards )
can Only Read the Forums, they can not Create or Reply to Posts

Here is what a New Users See's
"As a Free member ...... "

and What a Paid member sees in the New Users forum.
No Member is allowed to add Images to the New Users Forum.


New Users, With No Purchased cards, can Not post in Bug and Fixes.
They are Limited to Read Only.
But they can Access Customer Support for Help

That's how I understood the way the New Users Forum worked........

WASub is one of My Sub accounts used for Testing...

the No Images in the New Users Fourm has been that way since the New iStripper Web site was created.
I believe in the Old VGHD forum, a Paid member could post images.
But it changed when Istripper.com was created..

I believe there were TWO new user forums..
One that FREE members had read only access too.
and the other one that Paid members had Posting access too..

I believe these were merged together,
and the Image posting rights were restricted
when the new version of iStripper.com was created. ( sometime last year )

I remember the Team informing us ( Mods ) about Threads being Merged together, and Sticky Posts being removed.
So a few of the Forum threads were merged into one...

I do not know if the results of the Merged Thread was intentional to restrict All Images to all Members.

It may be that the setting of the New Users ( Public ) thread, were left in place by default.

It is something that I believe @Manue will look into now that the team is aware of it..

ANYWAY ..... to get back to the OP !! 😕
