I averaged about a 20% discount over a statistically relevant sample size. Law of diminishing return stopped me. When you have a decent collection size, getting 3-4 cards that interest you randomly can be tough.

After I read the news on the featured page about the slot machine I went straight for it..
I love iStripper as much as everybody else and when I saw that slot machine I just went Hell Yeah! Awesome!

Now... though... I thought the article said I cannot lose on this one.. and man was I wrong..
About 125 credits later, No Cards that I wanted for said discounts and No Credits won back enough...
I finally realised it meant ACTUAL gambling.. I had hoped on something more unique!

It's a lose/lose situation.. and I fell straight for it...
You either lose credits on cards you don't want or lose credits trying to aim for the Jackpot.
Congrats to the very lucky ones!

Interesting that some members had recent cards on their spins. I estimate I took 20 spins, and don't recall seeing a card from the last three months. I did see the same cards from Kyra Hot (that I have no interest in) over and over...especially on the last few spins.

Thanks Totem! I had fun with this - I hadn't bought credits in a while, and this totally worked to make me spend some credits! Very cool idea.

Well i also couldn't resist. I tried until i got my 50 credit win and bought 22 cards in the process to get them with discounts of 50% or even 70%.
It's really hard to resist the gambling. But now i am satisfied.

It does come down to luck, most people will lose, but some will win big, if you are new to istripper and were looking to buy cards at a discount, you literally couldn't lose. The worst roll possible still nets me 4 cards, I would save 3 credits and only spend 1 credit. The best roll possible nets me 4 cards and saves me 42 credits. That is without the chance to win back credits. A brilliant idea, meant more for new customers, which is great news, totem felt it was worth the coding cost to approach what must be a whole bunch of new people using the software. Totem is in trouble when they are solely catering to double and triple diamond members, even though we may be the most vocal. My addiction didn't start until I hit about 50 cards, at that point I used deals and discounts to grab 1300 more.

Lots of 504 Gateway timeouts on the website on Saturday nights...

@orclover I would say you are pretty spot on but you can estimate your chances of being luck by thinking about what your chances of getting a deal you want.

The machine could be setup in many many ways but assuming things are truly random you can then make some assumptions:

1.) The higher the percentage of cards you want but don't own the more likely you are to get a roll you'll want to buy. My percentage is less than 1 in 10 so I would have to beat those odds 3 or ideally 4 times in a single spin for me to even consider a purchase - not likely.

2.) The less cards you own the less likely you are going to get a diamond as you have more cards to randomly pick from.

So sure you could just get lucky but the odds of getting lucky are predetermined.

Years ago I just watched the previews on a few computers. I did this for months then Totem gave me a free card and it was my only cards for at least another 6 months ... then 1 day VG had some sort of sale and I decided why not ... I'll add buy a few. And the rest is history. Once they got my wallet open I kept coming back. No regrets :)

In any case most of these sales are not for me but hopefully they get bystanders like me to open their wallets and support IS so we can all enjoy.

So after totem only knows, how many spins, I finally get a combo I like and at 20% even! The cards now show in my collection as "coming soon". Very next spin 2 DIAMONDS!!! but it didn't pop up that I won any credits so I got nothing for it. Fun Idea Totem, but the odds are definitely in favor of the house on this one... Could have bought 3 or 4 cards from my wishlist with what I ***** spinning this thing 😕

This will almost certainly be coming back as it was generally well recieved and probably made Totem a load of money. The question is how soon and how much traffic drops off when it returns.

started with a 100 credits.
did not buy any girls.
just wanted to see what jackpots I would hit.
I hit 1 credit over 20 times.
I hit 5 credits at least 6 times.
that's about it.
I would have bought girls on a whim if it allowed you to choose which girl or girls you wanted to buy from the discount set.
There are even some girls that I would not take for free in groups I got.
I did not see any girls from my wishlist in my play time either but that might just be my luck.

I would do this again for the chance to win big but.....

You should be able to have the option to buy all the girls that come up on a spin or a choice of one.
This makes it more interesting and fun.

This is a great promotion. But I am very frustrated. I spend credits for spins. Then the app shuts down before I'm even able to buy the cards. It's happened at least 5 times now. I spin and get to a group of cards I might buy. But even before I get to, the app crashes. So I am out of luck in every way. I have no proof of what has happened with my spins but I am just out of luck. I don't mind saying simply that it sucks.

Maybe too many parts that have to work for this to work! A good discount on selections is the best way in my opinion. Seems like most people lose when gambling! Beauty, nudity and explicit performance is the name of this game! Have not tried this offer, however, I am not a gambler. Interesting try though.

Ok- I tried it and it works as advertised, but for high count collections like mine this is just another effort to get me to buy cards I already passed on and didn't want then and don't want now.

A better "gambling" deal is purchasing cards you really want when they show up the previews tab with a 12% discount. And no cost to spin!

This is a good way to make me spend money and not even care I am spending money. This is why I don't gamble for real. But I enjoy this and I like the chance of getting a great outcome. Please please keep bringing this slot machine thing back. I like it far better than any of the other games you guys have come up with. I'd do this every weekend.

I fully agree with Titanium25. That was a lot of fun and exitement - and I finally ended up with 149 new cards for 1500 credits - including all the latest cards. I better wait a few more weeks to come back and go for the upcoming new cards.
