Over 5 hours so far, this is a ***** rip off

if you are on dial up it will take a long time...If you are not on dial up the server may be slow..I am on dsl and it takes anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes to download 1 girl.

Just a note of commiseration if you are on dial up. I am and it takes me about 24 hrs. to download a 30 min. card. That's if nothing disrupts the flow and knocks it off line. I have a few 87 , 91% cards that I don't want to have to download again(It'd be great if the tech would pick up where it left off. but noooo..gotta start from scratch). Also if you're on dial up watch it when you're downloading and scanning these long threads. Sometimes the load is too much & the download speed drops from my blazin' 2.9 kb/sec to under 1kb while trying to load a long pic heavy thread & I have to choose to let that go until after the download is through and is no longer in danger of kicking off my babe! Still I've managed to collect about 120 active babes and have about 170 in reserve due to purchasing booster paks. But I ***** to come home and find "error" after my download & go in to see it's 76 kb short of a full card! Patience or get an extra job to pay for the dish! Not realistic for me.

@magin56: Rather than viewing it as a Rip-Off, Better to be Philosophical about it, and view it as part of the TEASE nature of this site !!! Anyway, you've still got the malfunctions to look forward to, when you have to Reload Everything all over again !!LOL.

Mmmm...yes . But it was nice for awhile to have the net come to me. Most folk are in the fast zones, it's just these little pockets o' boonies that have dial up.I often wonder how it is in the little countries world wide. In many ways I'm in the 3rd world here! I see magin56 is in the UK and has three cards already so he must have known if he was on dial up already, probably not. Must be just all those Jam Tarts & Crumpets in the lines! lol
I know if I were on a fast connection my obsessions would run away with me & I'd be a collectin' fool..never get outa the house!

I used to have dial-up. Thankfully I got dsl before I first connected to vghd. But I had dial-up most of the time I was downloading vg2 girls.

It sure is SLOW. I ***** that.

I remember that I had an average of about 5 to 10 kb a sec. Flash players did not play well. This was most evident at myspace. I have a page there. From the time I created my account there (late 06) until I got dsl (mid 07), the flash player would not not play well. I tried to listen to the music and videos (separate from the myspace player). They always took so very long to play, and stopping and starting always happened. The worst is that some of the songs simply would not play all the way; they came to a complete stop way too soon.

I currently have a maximum of about 90 kb/sec., sometimes dropping dramatically. What is your speed?

I was just singin' over t' the "Zebra Beach" thread...JonC I'm so jealous of your 5-10 kb! Once in awhile mine gets up to 3.02 for a few seconds then back to 2.85-2.89! So for me I only know patience & occasional swearing.

Ouch! Your posts brought back all the horrors I remember about dial up. I'm now downloading a show at around 320K on cable modem. What I don't understand is why one has to start all over again on dial up when a connection is lost. I just tried that...got 10% of the show, put my computer in sleep mode, and when the download started again, I started from the 10% mark. I remember having to start all over with dial up...wonder why that is? It would seem the data is already on your computer.

Maybe it's Something Out There that's causing the Problem !!
