Technically, I'm agreeing with you! At 100% on HDMI the image is cleaner and crisp... on a bigger monitor that would look good.
However where we disagree is daily usage (and maybe brand name) the trade up for hard drive space and processor power at 75% is marginal...
On paper, monitor wise our DPI is the same, perhaps the sharper image comes from the fact that my DPI has to cover 2" squared more...
