11th November : Experiments with animated gifs.

On this day after Remembrance in Australia & also with Super Moon next Monday & Leonard Cohen's passing yesterday, I wanted to celebrate the work of one of our most inspiring visual artist members here on the iStripper forums @Lunarpup.
Lately I've been exploring with @Lunarpup, ways of making animated gifs work better with music as fullscreen backgrounds for our models.
By tweaking scenes into music effective moving backgrounds, we hope to preview here some of @Pup's recent work. It does not require any shaders to run. Unlike regular smaller size gif frames, Pup's new animated artwork is high quality 1920 x 1200 pixels per frame. It will be appearing progressively on his own website at http://www.lunarpup.com/animations/animations.html as the site undergoes further development by Pup. Keep an eye out at www.lunarpup.com for more great inspiring artwork to come. This includes folio grade HD jpg's ready for popping straight into your texture directories (in my case the location is..scenes/ET Scenes/ETImages/ ).
This scene uses the 23 frames of Pup's original animated gif AcidWow.gif incl. one juxtaposed repeat frame to make 24 progressive changes per 1.77 second cycle. We hope this movement, music & color will enhance the whole iStripper performance for you. It may also be a useful template (see .scn code //comments) for experience by members wanting to make their own iStripper fullscreen backgrounds from HD animated gifs such as these.

Members are welcome to reuse/share the work, provided that doing so is non commercial & distribution is limited to members in this forum. Zip size = 141 MB. Extract into your ..scenes/ folder. The extract to location is an icon called 'browse the directory..' on top left of iStripper's fullscreen page.

Edit: Note that http://www.lunarpup.com/erotica/vgirl/vgirl.html is non-commercial. It is NOT a Totemcash afilliate site, so no commissions are ever earned. Pup's work has always been purely his own cost and those who occasionally care to contribute. To me, it embodies Art for Love's sake. Bless your efforts Maestro-mentor & may they continue to inspire many :-)

I have just uploaded an update to my "Parliaments" set of scenes. This will probably be the last scene upload before I disappear from here for a month or so.

There are three new scenes set in the French Senate and I have added a couple of scenes featuring rotating circuses of pole dancers or cage dancers in the middle of the UN security council's chamber.

The direct link to the zip file is

@EverthangForever

We really need some method of keeping tabs on "favourite" threads in the GUI.

I completely missed these.

They look really good and the animation works much better than rapidly changing the lighting colours which can be a bit harsh.

Thank you for letting me know of Leonard's passing.
I have a question concering the meaning of music in the above quoted sentences.
Do you mean that a method to embed sound directly into the scene files has been figured out?
I ask because for a long time I've been wanting to create an animated beach scene with the sound of wind and waves embeded in it.

Experiments with animated gifs.

http://scenes.virtuastripper.net/WA-GIF-ANIMATION.zip

I had some time so I thought I'd experiment with converting an Animated GIF into a Scene.
Used some of your ideas @ET

Here's what I got..
I used a GIF created by George RedHawk ( he is a Blind Artist. His work represents how he see the world in his mind )
@DIDGEDRUM had shared one of his GIF in @LunaPup's thread..
So I picked out a Different one...
if you want the one the @DIDGEDRUM shared it can be found here
http://www.lovethisgif.com/uploaded_images/124978-Animated-Gif-Find-Share-On-Giphy.gif

My Scene includes Two Identical Scenes ( So the right Click feature can be used )
enable both Scenes, then use the Play Scene button.. Now you can Right click to change between the two duplicate scenes

Thanks so much @Wyld & HUGH Thanks to @Didgedrum for allowing me to use his adapted 'George RedHawk'
14 frame animation to illustrate improvements to .scn flow of frames derived from animated gifs.

What I've done to eliminate the to and fro movement of yoyo..is use loopbackward with a DOUBLER SCAN.
In this way...The opacity settings for each frame are extrapolated to allow two passes in the .scn before
repeating. This looks like it emulates better the handling of frames in animated gifs which on a single pass
would otherwise ***** truncation of the cycle.

Included in this zip, also are updates of four original old BoyC - The Cave .scn mods for better float stage movement.
As with all ET updates allow zip extract to merge folders and overwite any same name older files with new. Thanks guys ;-)>

Unfortunately if you are worried about being early, I wouldn't be, if you judge by most shopping malls and big box stores you are actually quite tardy.... ;-)

Experiments with animated gifs
Dec 5th 2016
Continued getting the bumps out of animated gifs on fullscreen,
I've made some headway getting these to work in a linear way without needing to rely on
pingpong repeat mode for the smooth movement on fullscreen. ..hope da code is helpful :-)

Many thanks to @LunarPup for his assistance with this collaboration ~ This commences a
series of conversions of Pup's recent works from his website. There's quite a backlog.

Here is the first one from his Fun with Fractals thread page 1 & about 13 posts down.

10th December:
Experiments with movement & using panoramas.
In this scene a panorama is rendered onto square tunnel A to allow perspective effect with stage
movement. the transparent floor with underlaying Seascape shader is retweeked to be less choppy
as a waterway. I've tried to use expo movement curves to sustain models proximity to the camera.
Includes an example .scn to show framebuffer inversion of a shader torus. Also some stretching
of open textures to make dynamic light floors for POV models.

Members are welcome to reuse/share the work, provided that doing so is non commercial & use is
limited to other members of this forum. Zip size = 26.9 MB

Great work as ever, buddy!
If I get back into scene making, I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I just looked at all your new .scn code and there's tons of stuff I don't have a clue about :/

The panorama one uses the seascape shader which always causes a little lag on my GPU. It's the same as when I first made that scene. One of these days, I'll get around to buying a better GPU ;)

Anyways, a HUGE thank you for all your work :D

@HSS thanks. What peeps need to realise is~ they can install Notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.2.2.html and go have a look at their .scn and .fsh code. Thats where the real tutorial for scene making is. For example, by tweeking things in .scn like Emu's uniform: speed, float, 0.1 to something less, they can make things slow down, if they resave the .scn file.... & similar applies with .fsh files.
You cannot permanently break anything in da remixes I've done..if your tweeking stops stuff happening, simply extract the zip again into your ../scenes folder allowing folder merging and overwrite the previous... for a fresh start.;-)
@HSS kudos..it was your willingness to experiment with tweeking things originally that really inspired me the most here i reckon my friend. Thanks forever for that 😊

And you will want to Add the Language Definition I created so the Scene .scn files are Colorized.
( it's not Perfect, but it can be modified for the New codes I missed )

@WA thanks. I've been looking for that zip..the colors act like an indicator for typograhic errors in syntax..& thats very handy.
Extract @WA's zipped xml file into same directory as you installed notepad++.exe into and it works immediately.

If you have installed @WA's language xml...here is something you can try for practice

Hi @Jplus
.. for new ET Scenes, should I combined to previous ET scenes in my folder ...?

Yes in your unzipper file manager extract directly into previous ../Scenes folder ONLY is best. The zip makes all the subdirectories required if it needs to.
If you rename .scn files or create new folders, you will just fill up your parent scenes directory unnecessarily & my updates will not find them.
So, just extract ( allowing merged folders & overwiting ) directly ONLY into your ..scenes/ ..the extract will do it automatically & correctly that way.
TheEmu's zips are a little different, because he groups & defines each project independently...like Parliments, Tunnels, Remixes etc.however he still
makes zips so they extract to ../scenes folder. You will find your ..scenes/.. location, by clicking top left folder type icon on iStripper's fullscreen gallery page.

@gman is correct..If girls were in parliment house or not..the level of concentration of the pollies on work, would be about the same I'm guessing ;-)>

Now I understand my problem, I unzipped file to external HD In the past. Now I had to repeated install it to Scenes folder, but the Scenes folder already has ET SCENE 01, ET Scenes 2..... Is it OK, I will try. Thanks.

@Jplus - When merging in updates like those from EverthangForever I use a file and directory comparison program called Beyond Compare. It allows you to easily see and understand what has changed.
