The 1080p conversion of Angel Kiss's shows are fantastic. Thanks.

I'm sure we're all hoping some of our personal favorites can receive this same treatment. Is there a limit to how old a show can be to do the conversion? Is there a list of upcoming conversions you can share or are these updates going to be a surprise?

Personally speaking, it's easy to get sentimental about your favourite dancers/strippers, kind of vicariously attached, and Angel Kiss has always been near the top of my own list. So the last couple of days, I've been checking to see if - yep - another card has been "upgraded". It's been like a mini-Christmas each day! :)

(I think the devs - Rex? - said that 2010 was the cut-off. Looking at the "Virtuagirls Store", 2010 goes from roughly Card #590/600 - #800? Ish? And darlin' Angel is in the late #660's, so she's quite near the start of 2010. It could be that she is, in fact, the start point. [And yep, several of my favourites are the wrong side of this point... but on the hand, there's a lot of enhanced gorgeousness ahead! :) )

I too am really happy to be seeing the upgrades, but also have a request: Rather than running through all the cards of a single model, or doing all the cards in numerical order, please spend your effort upgrading a greater selection of models. For example, over the course of a week, I'd much rather see five cards from five great models in 1080p than five cards from Angel Kiss (lovely as she is).

Hoping to see an answer to this question, and perhaps some sort of published expectation of how quickly or slowly the conversions will be done. The new 1080p shows look great!

The answer was given before. Shows from 2010 to date only and only if they were recorded with a newer equiptment.

I wouldn't be counting on any massive release of old cards with upgraded resolution. It would be amazing to see more than a few each month, me thinks. There's no army of staffers doing this stuff. ;)

Am I the only one that can't complete the download on the last 3 1080p update shows released?

It fails when it gets to the demo clips with a download server error "file not found"

As a result, the .vhdshows file doesn't get created and the show is greyed out/unplayable.

I can delete the incomplete .demos, create a .vhdshows file and the rebuild my collection to get it to work, but as the rebuild takes more that 20 minutes(!) to complete, that's not good.

I tried on US and EU servers with no luck, does the same thing on both my machines. Is this just me?

edit: After a rebuild to get the shows to activate, show 688 crashes the player.

@zebrazuk -- same problem today with the 2 sarah cards in 1080p, think it`s the bad connection at the moment.

I can download the 2 Sarah ones. Cute summer is fine, however, the 1080 of Royal suite crashes the program after about a second. Doesn't matter which clip, they all crash it. Tried deleting and downloading again to no effect.

Also having an issue downloading 690 Melissa Sweet Candy which stops at 97%.

Really grateful to Totem for doing this at no cost but I now have two cards I can't play. Making me wary of the whole updating procedure.

I have waited for the software to tell me there is an update so assumed it was all ok.

Hope this can be sorted soon.

I seem to remember that there may be a way to change servers but can't find it. Any help on that appreciated in case that's the issue.

You need to go into "My Account"
Then "Edit My Profile"

There you will find a box to change data servers.

I missed the 2010 cutoff in the other post. But starting in the 660s leaves many of my favorites possible.

It's sad that Ariel, Suzie Q, and the near perfect Jenni Gregg can't be done.

But it's fantastic that upgrades to Jasmine, Satin Bloom, and Mandy Dee are possible.

The Totem 1080p revolution is there best product upgrade to date!

I don't know about Sarah, since I don't have her cards...but Angel Kiss and Melissa downloaded without any problem for me...and they look absolutely awesome in the new resolution. Thanks Totem!

Sarah Royal Suite causes VG to crash. The other updates work fine.

I have just checked and can confirm that the Sarah Royal Suite update causes VGHD to crash.

Hi - I am having a problem with the Melisa show. It gets to 99% or even 100% but doesn't finish. I didn't even try to download the 1080p but just updated the 720p and had this problem. It will play if I click on it but doesn't continue on.

Try to turn P2P off (when it's on), when downloading the full show. Sometimes helps.
