Hello, I am getting ready to wipe my hard drive clean and re-image my computer. I need to know the directions/instructions to successfully backup & restore the Virtual Girl program and the 50 model cards in my collection. My goal is to re-install the software and then import all of my existing model cards into the program (WITHOUT HAVING TO RE-DOWNLOAD THEM). I have tried some of the suggestions on here only to find out that all of the cards had to download again which took over 3 weeks due to my Internet connection and bandwidth sharing restrictions imposed by my ISP. I currently have version 1.00.06.01 installed on my computer and I have 50 model cards. Any help you can give me that would help me to AVOID RE-DOWNLOADING every card again would be greatly appreciated.

There are posts for this in the help section, under the FAQ's.
However, the simple step would be to copy your existing data & model files (VGHDData & VGHDModels)to another machine or external hard drive and then coopy them back before your reinstall the VGHD Software.
A good idea might be to install a secon hard disk in your PC and copy and leave the files there.
Then after you rebuild your PC, you could point the VG softeware to the new data location.
