I've just noticed a rebuild collection button just below the check for news, I can see what it says but when would you use it?, some info on new things would not go amiss, preferably on the front webpage.

It is the same functionality as the old "plus" sign you would get from right click over the "check for news" button on the same "advanced settings" screen.

It rebuilds your model list if it becomes corrupt or lost (when your interface shows only demos or 0 card count).

They added the option to change the account utilized by your copy, through the "registration" button.

Rick is 99.9% correct, but that last .1% to be signifficant.

A number of people reported having to run the old process a few times before it really updated the collection.

The new process checks and identifies what needs to be downloadedd, the first time around.

Then when you view yur collection in list mode, it will idenify the cards that have been updated and give you a download option. This new download will only update the individual animations that have changed.

Well I don't have a rebuild button and I need one.

I just had my account reset because my old computer died and I couldn't uninstall my previous installation. So now I have VG installed on the new machine, but when I click "My Collection" none of my cards are there.

When I go to "Full Collection" it shows all the cards including the 316 that are currently "In your collection" but gives no option to redownload them or move them into the "My Collection" tab or anything.

I go to "Advanced Settings" and click on "Check for news" but that doesn't help.

Does anybody know how to get my cards back into a viewable state?

@MISTERbang To get the rebuild button you right click on Check for News, which brings up the rebuild button which you left click. However there are server issues which may complicate this.

Thank you. I didn't know you could right click that button. I did right click it and saw the "Rebuild Collection" button. Clicking it started the process, but it didn't help with my specific problem. I guess I will be bugging customer service after all....

@MISTERbang, I believe it is down to the server issues that have been bugging everyone for the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately it may just be a case of patience. But good luck and I hope it gets sorted for you.
